Lets not launch in other countries until you satisfy the orders for the phones in this country. Why do I have to wait until sometime in November to get a phone while India and other countries will get theirs in October???
Cute to think that India will get devices on launch. We will get maybe 20 for an entire city which will not include the color and configuration that people would want. It's a launch and then you wait.

Ugh, they should sort out the first 25 odd countries who got them on the 16th Sept, then the next 30-55 that got them a week later and then get enough stock backed up to do the third round release. IMO

First there's the principle: If I'm paying full price for an unlocked phone, I shouldn't be required to sign into/give my existing carrier account info (the rest of the world doesn't have to, just US).

Secondly, I have AT&T, but I don't want the AT&T version that is limited to GSM. Like you noted, I'd love to have the Verizon version that has both GSM and CDMA should I ever decide to switch carriers or to have a better re-sale value down the road. Until a SIM free version is released, I am unable to buy a Verizon version without an existing Verizon account even though I'm paying full price up front. Both models cost the same, so I should have my choice, not be subject to arbitrary carrier collusion rules. Unacceptable.
When I bought my Verizon iPhone 5 on launch day at Apple Store, I bought it full price, no accounts, no questions asked. I just told the Apple rep that I'm buying it as a gift.

Yesterday i played with 7 plus black and i must say that it doesn't feel as premium as my 6S Plus currently. Lack of sapphire on lens and home button is really disappointing.

Didn't all these people get the message? NOBODY WANTS THE IPHONE 7! Because it's BORING. Everybody has already been told this like a thousand times.

So, uh, stop buying so many of them, everybody

Yes exactly, get a grip people it's a terrible, terrible device. Stop buying the bloody thing and Apple will get the message.......

.....Well, at least until I get mine, then buy as many as you like. Selfish, yes, but we're all thinking the same thing :p

I will skip this year upgrade. I just do not like the size of the 6,7 screen. It doesn't hold nicely in my hand. I would prefer 5th generation with the new A10, 128GB and better camera and screen. As I can not get it, I stick with what I have.
[doublepost=1475406237][/doublepost]Do you know, if I can bring European unlocked broken Iphone 6 16gb to Apple store in Miami and get store credit? or do they provide this service to only US phones?

Because India is fastest growing smartphone market?

I believe 6s was the fastest ever too, but it was only 13 days after the launch. We are now at 14 days. Fingers crossed.

Hi, I went to a physical Apple Store in Columbus oh and they had in stock a Verizon ip7 rose gold. When they asked me for contract details, I told them I do not have a Verizon account but wish to use it on a Verizon mvno i.e. Page plus and I paid full price. However, in order to use it with a Verizon mvno, you need a SIM card for that mvno, therefore I will have to wait until I get a new sim, I cannot simply use the Verizon sim included with the phone. Please note that entering the imei number on boost mobile site or cricket wireless site would give me a message saying ineligible to activate. That indicates that you can only use a ip7 Verizon phone on Verizon, at least to start with. You cannot use it with att or sprint from the start, although some people said it's unlocked. Evidence shows otherwise. I wish I waited for the sim free version, but having an
ip4, I got impatient and went and got the ip7.

I don't understand why this is an issue.
All versions when paid in full at Apple store are unlocked. Verizon version is unlocked out of the box.
Why do you think so? I bought a Verizon ip7 full price at a physical Apple Store without contract last week. It is not eligible to activate on boost (sprint) or cricket wireless (att) according to their websites when you enter the imei. I am in the process of activating it on Ecomobile (Verizon mvno), and it's taking a while I started the activation on Thursday now it's 3 days later and I don't know whether I will be able to. Maybe I should have taken the Verizon sim out and put the new sim in before turning the phone on according to some. Anyway my point is I would not be so sure it is unlocked

Verizon LTE phones are unlocked out of the box per US regulation.
The issue you are having seems to be the carriers (eg. Sprint) not willing to whitelist devices that they don't sell (forcing customers to think they have to buy the carrier s' phones), or simply because the device is still new and they have not updated their database.
I have a Verizon iPhone 5, and I never even used it with Verizon ever. I simply put in AT&T SIM and it worked.
Looks like your issue is getting the SIM. Don't know about other stores, but usually I can just stop by an AT&T corporate store, ask for a gophone/prepaid SIM, and they just give it to me for free. T-Mobile sells their SIM, but sometimes they have deals online for 99cent per SIM.

Interesting that although we don't even have an Apple Store in Ireland ( other than Belfast U.K. ) we were included in opening day launch with the U.K. and this consisted of 5 (F-I-V-E) 7Plus phones stock for the whole country none of which were Jet Black ! At least it proves Ms. Ahrendts has a sharp sense of humor :O)

Perhaps for iPhone 5 (4 years ago) that was the case. But not for iPhone 7. It is as I previously described: you must have an active Verizon account to order the phone. And going into the store to get a jet black 7 is not an option as there is no supply of them in store, therefore you can only order online (which again, requires an active Verizon account to get the unlocked Verizon version).

You are incorrect. You can buy any iPhone at the Apple Store full price. I bought a 7 black for my girl at the Williamsburg store in NY and a 7 plus black at grand central store in NY. Told the rep I'm paying full price. They scanned the box and told me my total.
