Space Black 256GB is going to be difficult to get. Maybe for a change I won't max out the capacity on my iPhone.

Suppliers are experiencing low yield rates on the new gender fluid emoji's.

Pretty sure we heard this with the 6 or 6s. Possibly both. Ive never had an issue securing a unit via my carrier (telstra) and receiving on launch day. However, if the design does indeed stay the same, I'm pretty sure not many people will care to upgrade. I can see the 6s getting a lot of orders from 4s/5/5s owners.

Yeah, I think the lower numbers probably have a lot to do with Apple expecting a lower number of orders and not so much to do with production issues. I think Apple changed what they could with this model so it's at least somewhat different, and are willing to take a hit for it to wait for the tech to be available next year to blow everyone away with the 10th anniversary model. Their stock is probably going to take a beating this autumn though! I'm planning on buying in then and riding that 2017 iPhone gravy train. I'm just worried that Apple could make themselves irrelevant if this 6SE update isn't very significant. Brand perception is really important and for a company like Apple, you never want to look stale.

Those bands! Sooooo ugly! Is the design department on vacation or something?

All this is to build the hype so people snap up one when the pre-release sales open up.

Yet Apple are the masters of this!

Wont matter to me though, I'm going to buy a used 6S, I think that's how I'm going to roll each year now. I like unlocked phones so I can jump around with carriers.

Outside of forums like these I don't think IPhone customers are particularly aware nor outraged about iPhone 7 rumors. They will replace the iPhones their kids have cracked and grubbed up, same as always. My friends always do and are pretty mindless about it because it's always an iPhone for them and that's all they care about...the little apple emblem.

They might notice and get ticked about the missing headphone jack, though, when they realize they have to jump through the extra hoop of pairing Bluetooth earbuds. Or the kids lose the free ones and they can't just grab any one of their many old sets from previous iPhones and plug in without an adapter. I bet a lot of them won't even know you can plug the headphones with an adapter into the Lightning port. To most people that's a charging port only. I hope Apple acclimates customers to the concept by including lightning earbuds and not Bluetooth ones.

We hear this ever year and what happens? It sells more than predicted. It'll happen this year. As soon as you see one on their website or hold one in your hand, you'll want one.

For the first time, I have almost no interest in the new iPhone

Especially with my 6S still running beautifully

I do hope this is iver hyped. If the speaker and camera is having water proofing issues i guess Apple will have to pull that spec. I hope this release is not a debacle. The silver lining is that the stock might go on discount if Apple hits some turbulence.

A supply shortage rumor right before the announcement?!?!?!

What are the F'n Odds??

I'm shocked!

Right on time before the launch. The ‘short supply’ story that gets everyone in a frenzy for pre-orders and standing in line.

Honestly, I'm beginning to be scared for Apple. So far, nothing other than speed (which, although important is overlooked by many everyday customs) to make the iPhone 7 catch up to the marvelous Note 7. As a creative (as in designer and writer) already owning a desktop powerhouse, I'd love to love the iPad pro but the wrong software and questionable design compromises (or lack there of) make me despise it. Microsoft nailed it with the Surface pro 4 and Surface 3 as those laptop first devices keep on getting better tablets with every update. The apple watch is a joke at this point. The new MacBook is magnificent to behold but much less to own (as in one port and lack of power). The new MacBook can be great but the Surface Book 2 will probably blow it out of the water. The iMac is way overpriced if you want a gpu (who doesn't) and a lot of the Mac Os seems almost abandoned (like the Mac App Store). The Apple TV knows no competition though, except maybe from the modern consoles. In short, I no longer feel Apple's extraordinary vision and I'm turning towards other greener pastures... at this point only Keynote keeps me using Mac Os!
