iPhone 7 Plus Orders Begin Shipping to Customers

Do they drop ship direct from china to your door or does it stop in America anywhere first? Has this always been how they do it?
 
Hey! Will it have iOS 9 as the default iOS? That would be cool!
Then I could keep using my older computer!

Since by first iPhone in 2008 mine have always came to US first.

No, they come with iOS 10

If you ordered via an installment plan you should have received something that you need to digitally sign. At this point I would call in if you haven't received that yet. I ordered my wife's phone at around noon est on the 9th and received the digital paperwork by that evening.

I did receive an EIP email. It's already signed and it was just "my copy" of the paperwork.. Is that good?
 
No ability to track in germany. But my 7+ shows up in my support profile, aswell :)

My 7 (not Plus) is also shown in the Profile. It says the warranty expires 9. September 2017. I thought it counts the year the moment I activate it?! A week less warranty?! Not cool Apple.

Last year, my i6S arrived around 11:30 am in indianapolis.

After quickly moving to the "Preparing for Shipment" stage on Friday, the first wave of iPhone 7 Plus shipments from Apple are now on their way to customers for delivery on Friday, September 16. Apple has not yet officially updated order statuses to "shipping," but a number of customers have found their new devices showing up in their Apple support profiles and in UPS order tracking. We've seen quite a few reports of iPhone 7 Plus orders showing up, but it's not clear if iPhone 7 units are shipping in volume yet.

U.S. customers can try to find their orders by using the "Track by Reference" function on the UPS website and searching with their phone numbers, typically the phone number associated with the Apple ID under which the order was made. The Apple order number minus the last two digits may also work. UPS customers who have My Choice accounts may already see their shipments showing up on their accounts without even needing to search.

The first wave of shipments is scheduled to arrive to customers on Friday, with delivery services holding packages until that date even if they arrive to regional hubs early. It is not unusual, however, for a few packages to slip through and arrive a day ahead of schedule for a handful of lucky customers.

I'm pretty much waiting until Christmas lol I started my preorder at 3am est was able to get it finalized at 3:31 am and won't have my phone until November lol

I have a UPS My Choice account. I logged in and took me to calendar view of my expected shipments. It shows my two ordered phones and one of the two Apple Watches ordered with delivery date of 9/16. Apple shows all my orders are still either "preparing to ship" or "still processing".

Then you might not even have an order. I called the night to do my preorder and the guy said it was in but I didn't get an email yet. But the morning my gf and I went into the store to preorder hers and they didn't show any preorder for me.
 
I will not have the iPhone on day one for the very first time due to T-Mobile's servers. :mad:
