I just checked and I did remember correctly.
Apples are saying the iPhone 7 speakers will be TWICE as loud 2x, AND have a wider dynamic range, so not only twice the volume but better quality at the same time.

Looking forward to hearing real people's opinions when the play their iPhone 6s next to the new 7 and get their reaction.

I ordered my iPhone 7 plus through ATT right at 3am and it says delivery date between sept 23-29 :(

I think what we're finding out (the hard way) this time is, the Apple Upgrade Program is a nice convenience for casual users who want a new phone every year, but aren't in a huge hurry to be near the front of the line / get it on the first day. Would have been really good for them to have pointed this out at signup time - or maybe they'll see this is a problem and get it sorted for next year.

We (you're all self-selected as tech nerds - you're seeking out the comments in the forum section of a Apple rumors site) care a lot about getting the new shiny the first day. Surprisingly, the majority of iPhone purchasers don't share the "must buy the first day" gene (otherwise they'd sell billions this quarter and none the rest of the year). (As well, I don't have a horse in this race - not in the AUP, and unlikely to buy an iPhone 7 soon, still rocking an iPhone 6 - but I like observing what Apple does.)

I am hardcore iPhone user. The only reason i want the program is because the prices are so high in the UK now and also i want a new iPhone every year and Apple really sold this to us.

Too bad it hasn't been that way yet. I hope i get a reservation soon though. :D

I ordered mine off of Verizon website at 12:16am PST (the site didnt come up for me till 12:09) and I got 28th. I hope its wrong. this will be the first time I stayed up late and to order and not get it at launch.

nov 16th? in that the case i would this cancel your per order then that is way too long of a wait for any per order phone and pick it up in the store on the day it comes out

It's a business account. I don't think I can go to apple. I will call them and see. Good call though.

Apple won't say "shipped" until it actually leaves their hands, but they inform UPS of the incoming package (yours and millions of others), and when and where it'll get handed off, well before it leaves the factory (your devices may still be just parts at this point). Based on that information, UPS can predict pretty well when it'll arrive on your doorstep.

If Apple told UPS, with no warning, "oh, btw guys, we have 5 million packages for you to pick up this afternoon", UPS would have a hard time dealing ("everybody! grab a hat and a truck and head for the Foxconn plant! now!"). :cool:

Which color and storage did you order? I ordered the black 128g. Funny thing is that I only wanted a 32g and didn't realize until the next morning that I had ordered a 128g lol. I was half awake when I ordered at 3am. Maybe we will get lucky and get it Friday.

Black 256+. I wanted the 128 but I noticed the ship date had already slipped to Oct. When I clicked 256, it gave me the 9-23 date so I jumped on it. I'm coming from a 6+ 16GB LOL
First time ordering through AT&T. Always went through Apple, but couldn't get in. Got into ATT early (11:58 pst.) so I ordered from them. The process was surprisingly quick and painless, I'm hopeful we get ours on launch.

Still "Processing Items", sigh, but it still shows delivery date of 9/16. Hopefully soon.

Are you sure? The Apple Store app shows all my products, but My Support Profile only shows my iPhone and watch. My iPad Air 2 and Mac mini are both missing, despite being bought new and registered with my Apple ID

Yea I am also coming from a 16g and I still have 6g left lol. I guess the extra memory one is probably better for resale value at least. I was able to do my order on att in 2-3 minutes with no issues. I figured if I was able to do it that fast that I would get the phone on 9/16. I'm sure had I picked a 32g, it would have said 9/16. Oh well, if it's delayed I hope at least we get them early the following week.

Perhaps you marked it as a gift or something? I bought a Mac Mini without AppleCare in 2010 (which is probably the only Apple hardware I've gotten without it) and it shows in my support profile. But I bought it directly from Apple's online store.

On a side note, just as someone else already confirmed on the previous page, regular 7's direct from Apple have started shipping as well. Mine is appearing in my support profile and I can track it by reference. It's still in China right now. I could provide a screenshot, but I see no reason to since they could easily be faked and the person on the previous page already provided an image.
 
I am almost never negative about Apple products, I have so many and have owned so many, but even I am concerned. It seems we are nearing the saturation point of an S curve with smart phones, I guess it has been nearly 10 years now. Apple must shift focus and find new ways to make users want a new phone. It is a delicate dance, the 6 and 6S are still great phones, or they need to focus on the experience at every angle to increase their market share. Interesting times.

EDIT: That said I am excited to get my 7! Just have to wait a few more months.
 
Well, I got an email from Apple saying that my iPhone 7 case has shipped and will arrive on the 13th (which I can track), but still unable to track the phone itself... at least I can pretend its in the case!

Ahh that could be it. My iPhone and watch were bought direct from Apple, but iPad and Mac were bought from BestBuy. Seems only Apple Store-bought products will appear automatically.

In any case, I ALWAYS have trouble tracking my preorders. They always arrive on time, but never have been able to track via reference.
