If I can't find a shipping number via reference and I have a delivery date of the 16th should I be concerned?

Mine says shipping by end of day Monday (today). We'all see if that holds

Say's out for delivery from San Pablo CA
Well let us know if you get it but I think it's highly unlikely. Could be something else you ordered that you forgot about. Although it has been known to happen that a few phones slip through the cracks and get delivered early, 4 days early seems not likely.
Good luck though!

Track by reference and Apple profile show my Apple Watch. My iPhone 7 doesn't show anything, but I'm not worried.

I have my iPhone on order and it will get here when it gets here. Articles like this and all the responses is what makes iPhone users seem so desperate for the latest and greatest which makes it easy for cell companies and phone makers to rake you over the coals with a smile on both of your faces. I mean this is no news, the same happens every year. The shipping times are about the same. Quit acting like elitous 3 year olds and wait for it to arrive like an adult. It's not even like you just forked out $800 dollars for it either or got a good deal. Most every one is now on a payment plan and every one is paying full retail price and no one cares? Who payes retail price and doesn't even complain AND still locked into a two year deal whether they call it a contract or not. If people would send a message, by not acting like you all are and sticking with your older devices, they would instantly rethink this scam and start offering discounts again. Unreal.

Triggered, bro?

You can try your "apple order number" also for the reference. I have 6 different reference numbers for my UPS shipment. Order number and phone number are 2 of them.

I am seriously worried about my iPhone 7. I am going on vacation for 10 days in October and my scheduled shipping date is in the same week I will be nowhere near here. Last thing I need to happen is the phone being returned to sender.

But you are taking all my JOY! :D

placed pre-order last friday (black iphone7 256gb) through verizon wireless.. and i have tracking number from Fedex with it being held in Memphis, TN until the 16th  wish it would come early :)

About to check out with a 7+ 128gb matte black ATT thru Apple Store...

"will arrive by 9/16"...

click "Complete Purchase with Apple Pay" button...

"Confirmed"...

email comes in...

"ships in 2-3 weeks, ETA Oct 4 - Oct 10"...

whyyyyyyyyyy.

I ordered mine on Friday 9th September at around 813am and mine is October 4-10 delivery.

I am in the same boat. 1 through Apple says delivery for 9/16 and 1 through Verizon says 9/16. Neither has received a tracking number so far. Getting a bit worried.

Are you sure? The Apple Store app shows all my products, but My Support Profile only shows my iPhone and watch. My iPad Air 2 and Mac mini are both missing, despite being bought new and registered with my Apple ID

If you log in to support profile you can add any missing products using "Add Products" by entering their serial number. Usually if you order online using your Apple ID and your order is shipped they will add these to your support profile automatically as the device is allocated to you. Im not familiar with the inner workings of the system, so cannot answer why products are showing in the app, but are missing from the support profile, however these can definitely be added using the serial number.

I'd like to buy one of the jet black models, but I need it in October. On ordering page it says first shipping November. My question is, if anyone knows from past experience, does Apple ship some of each model to the stores that have not already been reserved? In other words, would I have a chance to pick one up at an Apple store before November?

Apple won't say "shipped" until it actually leaves their hands, but they inform UPS of the incoming package (yours and millions of others), and when and where it'll get handed off, well before it leaves the factory (your devices may still be just parts at this point). Based on that information, UPS can predict pretty well when it'll arrive on your doorstep.

If Apple told UPS, with no warning, "oh, btw guys, we have 5 million packages for you to pick up this afternoon", UPS would have a hard time dealing ("everybody! grab a hat and a truck and head for the Foxconn plant! now!").
The packages are moving. One of my phones and a watch are inbound to Louisville World Port as we speak.

Ordered my ATT iphone 7 128 in black about 1 hour after preordered started. Showed up in my support profile this afternoon. Not other tracking info from ups or apple, however.

I can't find an answer to this anywhere so I apologize if its been answered.

Since Apple requires verification with your provider when purchasing a new phone via the Apple Upgrade Program... Do you have to necessarily keep that phone attached to that provider (Verizon in my case)? The phone is purchased through Apples lender (can't remember the name) so it should have nothing to do with the provider and once I receive the phone shouldn't i technically be able to activate it with whomever or deactivate it with Verizon for whatever reason if I wanted to do that? See screenshot below but to me it seems that I have no commitment to carry out service with my provider if I choose not to. In the screenshot below it says no commitment but does that really mean no commitment?

Anyone else see this... My wife's phone is now in Louisville, KY and was shipped according to the UPS scan an hour prior to mine on 9/11; however, my phone shows it is still in ZhengZhou, CN and hasn't moved yet from there. Not too concerned yet since UPS is still showing 9/16 but the UPS App version of tracking shows "Exception". I'm having flashbacks to the Apple Watch where her's came on launch day and mine (me being the Apple nut) came the middle of the following week.

Ok so let me get this straight I stood up all night to order my iPhone 7+ In Jet Black on 3:05 AM at the Apple Store online only to find out that it will be available to ship 2-3 weeks and be delivered around Oct 4-10. So In Reality, I really only just ordered the iPhone not pre ordered it? Lmaoooo! But seriously guys enjoy your new iPhones this Friday!

I am able to Track by Reference but I get a bunch of X's and the last 4-digits of a tracking number. Should I be seeing the whole thing or is there a time in the process that it gets assigned a real tracking number?
