i hope they ship them a little later or won't update tracking info till the morning to keep suspense lol
I got my import scan as well. It amazes me that these things will be out for delivery in 24 hours and it's still half way across the country.
Mine is still on a plane to Alaska with a delivery date tomorrow, but UPS logistics are absolutely incredible. I have no doubts.
How did you find out which plane it was on? That's incredibly cool. Mine arrived in Osaka at 8:47 p.m. there after stops in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. I have no idea how it ends up here in Massachusetts by the end of the day tomorrow, but I'm curious to find out.
Mine has same scan, 8:47 in Osaka, and due for delivery tomorrow in Kansas. That means it has to go to Alaska, Louisville and then Kansas City, in less than 24 hours. I'm beginning to have my doubts. If this was FedEx, I would not have any doubts, but UPS... not so sure about.

This might be the plane our shipment is on, assuming UPS tracking has not been updated. It left about 2 hours after arrival in Osaka, JP, and destination to Louisville by 1:10am, after going through Alaska.

Glad to know I'm not alone in being doubtful. That said, it'll be an interesting thing to check on throughout the day. I'm curious how far it'll get before I go to bed tonight and then where it'll be by the time I get my kids on the school bus tomorrow morning. I wonder if there's any chance they'll still be in the air early tomorrow morning.

Same. I got the email at 4:28 AM saying it had shipped, and saw it when I woke up this morning. Very cute; I've been tracking it online since Sunday. My phone already has more stamps in its passport than I do.
I'm assuming they hold them there so there's less of a chance of early deliveries

Yes, tracking has updated to show departure around in the 10pm hour, near the same time the flight took off, so pretty confident that is the flight.

Maybe mine will leave soon then too. Import scan was around 9am even though it's been there nearly three days
Same here. I wonder if the "import scan" is what initiates the "your order has shipped" email and lets your order show up in tracking apps with just Apple's order number. Mine has been in Louisville for 3 days too.
