BT headphones are nearly as common though. And the good ones are pricy. Lighting headphones have barely even been introduced, and will only work with iOS devices.True. Then again, the iPhone would still have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other means of connectivity. Not to mention using the Lightning port itself for headphones.
By the time the iMac came out floppies were completely obsolete at least as far as installing software. They were somewhat useful for transferring files, though better options existed. Really the only reason the floppy held on so long in the PC world was because BIOS makers were reluctant to support anything else. So, you mean like the floppy disk?
Actually I remember my experience as a TA for my high school computer class. We initially used floppies for grading papers... oh boy was it a nightmare! Every week you could expect at least one corrupted disk. And then you'd have the students who'd forget to put the disk in and instead save to the hard drive. As anyone who's ever used a computer at school in the last couple decades knows, that data gets wiped as soon as you log out! Eventually we switched to a network drive solution. Far fewer headaches!
