I think it just means that you can order one online and have the option to have your order be delivered to the Apple Store for you to pick up. I'm pretty sure Apple Store will still get the sim free 7 plus in store.Has anyone seen this?
I just noticed this today when I went to check for in-store pickup availability. Before it used to show "Unavailable for pickup", and I knew that the store ran out of stock but replenishes on a regular basis.
Now I see "Available Dec 16" and an online specialist I talked to told me there won't be anymore in stock UNTIL Dec 16 unless someone cancels their reservations.
I did change the carrier from Sim-Free to T-Mobile and I noticed it says "Unavailable for pickup".
So maybe the sim-free models are truly out of stock until Dec 16?...

My phone is coming earlier. The delivery date is November 15. It is currently in Alaska.
did they update the delivery date on the tracking or did they just unexpectedly deliver it? I'm wondering because I have a delivery date for my phone and was planning on taking that day off from work, but if there is a chance it might delivery early then there is no reason for me to miss work if the delivery date is not set in stone.

Yes the delivery date was 15th I did not check like for a day and test it updated to Alaska and today it got delivered, just like that. If your package is in Alaska, you shud be getting it tmrw

Yes this is blazing fast and smooth, but I somehow feel that my iPhone 6s had better build quality and material on it. Just a thought, rest all good so far
Haven't gotten mine yet. It is in Louisville, Kentucky right now and only has the arrival scan, so I think if it comes early it will be Monday at the earliest. I hope it's Tuesday, the scheduled delivery date though since I am going to take that day off work to be home to sign for the package.
I will update with a review once I get the phone in hand.
You can hold it at ups location nearby and pick it up any time, you just need to go to the tracking page and change delivery to pick up, once its ready for pick up, ups will send you a notification

Just keep track on UPS schedule. It can be shipped tonight and be delivered tomorrow.

Texas. I looked at the UPS flight schedules and there was one plane going from Louisville, Kentucky to Texas. So maybe the tracking wasn't updated and it is on that flight. Either way, I only have a few days to wait if it still comes later on the 15th.
My updates that time is sometimes late too. That's why I keep on checking UPS every midnight.
Either way, I'm happy that you'll be getting it soon.
Anyone having issues with call quality? All the people i call keep saying they cant hear a thing
I am an AT&T subscriber and have not had any call quality complaints with my SIM-free iPhone 7 Plus.
I also have Att, but so far 4 guys have complained that they cant hear when i called, called second time it seemed to work, but they kept saying my voice is breaking off, never had this issue with my 6s though
Got my phone today. I turned it on and it works fine so far, but I couldn't really test it out much as I have to wait until my SIM card from my new phone carrier comes in the mail. Can't even set up the phone without activating it as it keeps saying it needs a SIM card. First time I've ever had a sim free iphone so that is new to me. Usually I got the carrier version.
I ordered mine on the 23 of October as well. Did you get the black or jet black, because since we ordered the same day yours should have shipped by now I would think?

I find it different too when it asked for a SIM card. This never happened before with my iPhone 5 and 5s. Lucky for me, I brought the SIM card that I'm using from the Philippines.
