As an experiment, that might be a good idea. ALso, as someone else pointed out, you may be running into the battery issues due to your coverage. My phone typically gets better battery life when I'm connected to Wifi. I'd give that a try if it's an option.
i'm connected bit stating in previous post my IPS provider disconnect my internet at points then reconnects it

do you recommend I try another charging cable that's what the support chat agent told me ?

I hope you are using a real Apple lightning cable.

The charging cable either works or it does not. it should have noting to do with your phone's battery use when not plugged into the device. You were running your battery down without the cable attached.

If you have poor cell coverage and have a carrier who allows WiFi calling, there is no doubt that would use less power while using it.

Are you serious but the phone would be off

See, this is why you don't usually get anywhere when you post these kind of threads. I'm not trying to pick on you, but you seem not to have a firm grasp of how a smartphone works. I've seen so many of these types of threads from you here and in that other forum that it makes me wonder.

Like I said, not picking on you, just wondering.

yes i'm using a 2m orginal apple cable that I purchased from staples

The chat agent told me check for debris in the port and try a new charging cable I Know that wouldn't be the issue and I did not check that and I won't

My 7+ get about the same battery performance as my 6S+ did, you should see the same performance as compared to your previous iPhone. I am a pretty heavy user and usually have from 40-60% remaining when I put it on the charger at the end of the day. I never drain my battery and just use it with no worries.

battery life varies on my iphone 7 its not the same as my 6s plus that I would get 10 hrs

what I Do is wait till it dies to zero then I charge it

Completely unnecessary. Charge your phone when you can and run it off the battery when you need to. If it's acting funny, then you can try to discharge it all the way and re-charge it, but as far as I know, that doesn't calibrate the battery anymore. Apple has removed most of that info from their website.

If you are having battery calibration problems that is fine but they did not mean for you to do this often.
I do it often

Then, even when faced with the facts from other members here, you continue down your own path.

I am afraid you are going down the same "rabbit hole" with this iPhone like you have done with the ones before.

Unless you change, and I do not think you can, you are doomed to keep repeating this over and over.

I do not envy you for that, it must be horrible.
