Losing money? Last I heard the iPhone keeps breaking it's own sales records.

Sales 101. If you lose a customer, you are losing a sale, even if you have other sales. If you make 100 new sales and lose 75 sales, for a net increase of 25 sales, those 75 sales you lost are still lost sales that you could have kept. The idea in sales is to gain WITHOUT losing.

I didn't mean to sound rude, just sarcastic. Yeah I think they would have to go with a different material, like liquid metal, if they want to go for a solid case with no lines. The radio signals can't pass through aluminum.

Despite a broadly repeated myth, radio signals can't pass through liquid metal, either.

Apple has long had a big interest in ceramic cases, so if they go non-metal, that might be one direction.

Although we all know that they're also fully willing to unapologetically use plastic ;)

Whatever you say. The balance sheet looks fairly strong.

I think thats more hope than prediction, you are very unlikely to see hardly any of those, maybe 1 or 2 if you are lucky.

I defo think this rumour points towards liquid metal, i'm not sure of the properties though and whether antenna breaks are still needed or wether they can be introduced in the metal pouring process and appear as one piece. That could be amazing looking.

I hope to see the home button revamped on the 7, it should be possible to have a fingerprint scanner under the screen, that seems like future tech that i want. The only issues apple would then face would be matching the chin and forehead sizes. They will always be equal so the front camera and earpiece are actually the limiting factors. I would love to see apple go the route of two front speakers for stereo sound, loose the current speaker on the bottom. Take the top and bottom bezels to the minimum and increase screen to body ratio.

The only issue i have with the current iPhone is the location of the iPhone power button as i think on my 6 it's too high up and opposite the volume switches. When lying flat i can't squeeze the phone without hitting the speakers too! Is it also maybe a time to get rid of the power button all together?

Certain aspects of OLED are inferior and i believe it would be expensive to produce compared to the current tech which gives OLED a run for it's money and has a longer life and seems to be very reliable. I certainly wouldn't buy a pentile sub pixel display iPhone ever. I prefer the larger sub pixels of a good ips display like most, i've not seen an OLED that could accurately display colours.
