Remember when we used to anticipate in giddy, almost euphoric expectation of what crazy, innovative next big thing Apple was cooking up under Steve Jobs? Now we're debating the merits of including a freaking lightning adapter or not.

Are they gonna put two lightning jacks on the iPhone. ..how will you charge and listen at the same time when the lightning headphones are plugged in...more inconvenience as I think about it...I also wonder how much power this will draw.....will the battery die quicker..idea sounds silly
I don't understand. Your current earbuds work with your Mac. Any changes won't affect that...at all. Your Mac suddenly won't lose a 3.5mm port.
Then the article should not start with an affirmation like this one, which was my pointIt is not confirmed; just highly likely based on a number of rumours.
Welcome aboard the good ship 'Tim O Cook', where our motto is "It's really great and I think you're going to love it"

Great post. Top 10 on the hyperbole list, especially with the ad-hominems.Key word there being think, which means he doesn't know for sure.
Shows you how clueless Tim Cook is.

The sad part is many people do not see why Tim's a joke of a CEO. Sure he rakes in money from the delusional fanboys and from nickel and dime schemes, but the CEO also needs to give stock holders and customers with a brain a positive outlook in where the company is heading.
Haha calling TC useless is obviously a hyperbole when all the new iPhone has is no headphone jack and no antenna strips.Thats innovation right there folks.Steve Jobs would be proudGreat post. Top 10 on the hyperbole list, especially with the ad-hominems.
steve is patting TC on the back from the netherworld. Apple customers have way more choices now than before.Haha calling TC useless is obviously a hyperbole when all the new iPhone has is no headphone jack and no antenna strips.Thats innovation right there folks.Steve Jobs would be proud

So where consumers see choice you see fragmenting? maybe you want Apple to offer up a model t in black as the only choice?More like fragmenting, no choice.
Even then, some of the choices are a joke. Pink devices? Gold devices? Get real.
I have a hard time believing this ? I believe there will be wireless headphones?
