Well, from own personal experience it's inferior. Just as my Samsung 6s has less battery life than the TSMC 6s I gave my guy. Some people may not notice, nor care. They just want an iPhone. Those of us who used to modify Android devices and do intensive testing, I'm pretty sure we notice the little things. Not saying people shouldn't be happy with their devices, I'm saying the differences between the models are obvious to me. Obvious enough to a few others that there are plenty of reports, blogs, articles with testing that shows the variables between them.

Apple had to cripple the Qualcomm and TSMC to meet the inferior quality of the Intel and Samsung. That's okay to some, but not to all. I just want Apple to pick a manufacturer that provides the best product as the iPhone is considered a premium device. I really don't think that's too much to ask honestly.

Edit: I'm sorry if that came out snarky. That wasn't intended at all.

Or it could be mostly in our heads about the supposed difference is carrier data speed. ;)
Because that's what it was about. Not signal but faster data throughput.

Mine is based on using a 7 plus and 6s. My calls fail all the time on the 7 plus but have never once failed on the 6s. I've run both phones with and without VoLTE, automatic carrier and manually selected. I was able to keep YouTube videos running going from San Antonio to Corpus Christi with the 6s but I couldn't even keep it going inside of the cities with the 7 plus. I've tested it all over the city with both phones having the same OS, same apps, etc. Even did a backup from the 7 plus and restored it onto to the 6s. Just to see if there was something different. Sure enough still the exact same issues only with the 7 plus.

Plus in the new beta, they've reverted the Intel modem. For them to revert it? It must mean they are experiencing problems.

I'm happy if others are not having my difficulties but for the ones who are, it's a little disappointing.

I'd try getting it replaced.
That is not the case for every intel iPhone 7 out there to keep dropping calls and giving such issues.

Had anybody on Tmobile noticed any signal issues with their new 7+? My wife and I have both been having lots of issues, mainly between our 2 phones. She travels a lot and staying in contact with her office and work is critical, plus it's nice to be able to facetime each other when she's away. She's been having constant disconnects with her phone both on and off wireless and cellular data. Many times when either of us tries to call or Facetime the other the call will automatically end as soon as the other person tries to answer it.

Like I said, it's happened in many different locations and it's happened when we've both been on wifi, both been off wifi, and all combinations of those. According to tmo's signal map we live in an area with strong LTE signal so I know it's not my fault with the signal in our home, plus our wifi router is the Tmobile Cellspot which has a very fast wifi throughput and is supposed to work specifically for wifi calling.

Originally I leased an iPhone 7 when I was with sprint , last March. Half way through the year , the whole family switched to T-Mobile and they offered to pay off the rest of what I owed on the lease, that way I owned my device, but nobody told me it will ha e problems on T-Mobile network!basically brand new phone , was not working right.poor performance, after so many phone calls and so many hours with customer service wasting time, goin to apple and having the motherboard changed , all kinda trouble shooting with technical support people, I had to go to an apple store and have them switch the device for me completely.
My phone was still within that 1 year warranty , so they handed me another brand new iPhone 7,but Im still experiencing the same connectivity issues. Anyway, T-Mobile sucks, nobody is taking responsibility for this, and I’m losing my mind. Basically what they told me was the only option we have for you is to lease a T-Mobile device from us and that’s it!
So I’m looking for a T-Mobile iPhone 7 that works with their stupid network, before I go completely crazy.

I have awesome cell coverage and amazing fast LTE speeds with T-Mobile.
Nice trying to overgeneralize that all tmobiles subscribers have bad service.
Keep paying those ridiculous prices and get nickeled and dimed by the big carriers.
Sounds like you're enjoying it:)
T-Mobile blazing LTE speed only happens in certain areas within T-Mobile area coverage are narrower than Verizon. Verizon is the best carrier in the US with the widest coverage area. Sure, T-Mobile and their customers boast how fast the speed but they forget or intentionally omit that only happen in narrower coverage areas. The cheap price t-mobile is only good for getting narrowest coverage areas with horrible or no signals in the building ( quality in less quantity of coverage areas). How good is it for fast LTE speed but no coverage in many many suburb areas especially for frequent travelers? Again, cheap price = less coverage areas + horrible or no signal inside buildings + any other signal problems or hidden issues causing headaches. Good luck with the headaches coming with cheap price!!

In my case it's looking like it may have been a SIM problem, I haven't had any issues (yet) since replacing the sim. My wife still hasn't been able to replace hers but we also haven't tried facetime lately so the jury's still out on that. Tmobile did say they'd give us a free cell signal booster if the problems persist. Any idea what that is or how it works?
[doublepost=1491072987][/doublepost]I have recently switched to Tmobile and chose the iPhone 7 plus. I have been having the same issues. I can be talking to someone on the phone then my phone cuts out, sometimes i can still hear them but they cant hear me. Other times my phone goes completely quite, then after a few minutes i can hear other person again. My husband chose an LG phone and has had zero issues. I'm switching my phone out today. Also, my niece has the IPhone 7 with Verizon and loves her phone, she has no issues with her service or phone.

T-Mobile mailed me one of those free signal booster but I didn’t even open to try it, cause it only works at home. It’s assigned to your home address,so if you leave your house . You’re gonna have poor signal issues which is just B.S

We have 5 iPhones ranging from the 5s to the 10 on T-Mobile and all of the phones have call and coverage issues. Dropped calls, poor quality calls, slow internet speed.

I would hate to see the price tag on eight lines with Verizon with what T-Mobile gives me. Does Verizon give free lines? How about in-car WiFi with SyncUP Drive?

Anyway, I'm just fine with averaging 18-60 down in Phoenix. Coverage everywhere I go, no bufffering and even 4G maintains around 12 down if I have to use it.

I can make phone calls. Something I couldn't do on Sprint in the same places. Well, that and about 128k down on LTE.

I have an iPhone 7+ 256 SIM unlocked Qualcomm version on AT&T in the Carolinas and I am having VERY SERIOUS reception issues and dropped calls that I have never experienced in all the years of owning cell phones. This is most concerning. If this indeed turns out to be the phone itself after all the crap I've been through with quality control issues on iPhones then it is time to permanently say goodbye to Apple......

Im right there with ya. I’ve been through hell and back for the past 6 months with T-Mobile.but the problem is that they all suck. They are all theives, in my opinion. There’s always something that they are hiding from you in the beginning g to get you enrolled then they all one after another come to the surface!
They offered to pay off the rest of what I owed on my brand new iPhone 7 lease with sprint, so I switch to them ,not knowing that my phone (sprint phone)won’t work with their stupid ****** network (T-Mobile).
I totally feel tricked and lied to, and it’s absolutely Ridiculous and frustrating.
Then I came across this article on apples website regarding some iPhone 7 model numbers that were made in China and had connectivity and network issues, drop calls and poor service in general. Long story short, I wen to an Apple store , they changed the motherboard on the device, (basically gave me a new phone) but It still didn’t work but The second time , they actually switched the device and handed me a brand new phone from the box.
Still no improvements! Th only option I have left, Is to sell or trade my phone with a T- mobile phone online!
At least for now!
