Is it a 7 Plus (any colour) or 7 in Jet Black? I was told they have stock of all 7's except Jet Black and basically no plus's

Doesn't seem quite right compared to previous launches. In previous years the phones were sent out the night before.

Yeah, I've given up trying to get a straight answer from them. If it arrives it arrives.

The lying is a shambles though. I've got an open complaint and an email from them stating that their resolution to my complaint was that my iPhone will be shipped by dpd tomorrow. If it hasn't by Monday I'll ask them for a deadlock letter and take it further.

I don't understand why it's so hard. They have x orders and y phones. I'm no logistics expert but they should be used to this by now!

Ordered 32gb black 7, from what I've read elsewhere plus's seem to be thin on the ground, and the jet blacks are even rarer

Yeah, they seem to be hard to get hold of. I wonder if there were production issues and apple have shafted the carriers stock-wise?

But the, if there was, why didn't they just do what they did with the gold sport watches and release it a bit later. Bit mad if you ask me, but it's only a phone at the end of the day.
 
just got off a chat with a vodafone rep on the website and he said we will receive the phone tomorrow "as promised". I do not know how to read that "as promised", means that depends if your sales agent on the phone during the preorder told you would have received it on friday? I placed my order around 9AM on friday and it said i was one of the first :)

I preordered instore at about 11am on the Friday, and was told I'll be good for tomorrow.
I'll believe it all when I have it in my hands!
 
I upgraded on Friday morning as I do every year. So far no movement at all on the tracker but my tariff has been changed today on my Vodafone app. They've always delivered on launch day previously so I'm quietly confident about tomorrow. But some movement on the tracker would be nice...

Rose gold 7+ 128GB if it makes a difference.

That's what he said - his words not mine! He said that was his final resolution (well, after he tried to fob me off with a £5 bill credit).
 
Taking it with a pinch of salt, but I've just been told that my order is in the "final stages" and should be dispatched in "2-24 hours"
 
Pretty sure mine isn't coming tomorrow now. By this point two years ago I had a tracking number and a confirming email from Vodafone. Vodafone Live Chat folks are being super vague.

They told me tomorrow but when pushed said maybe the 17th?! Humph! It was in stock when I ordered!

Yeah, given the misinformation, until you have a tracking number, take it with a pinch of salt.

Not just us though, looks like the guys in the EE thread are in the same boat.

Have you got a delivery on the DPD app? That's probably more reliable than VF.

I ordered mine for instore collection, I have unreliable shift patterns and always go for instore.
I'll pop in tomorrow on my way home and see what's happening!
