    Hi All,

There's something I fail to understand...

It seems like no one ever bothered to compare iPhone 7 to iPhone 7 Plus pictures. Apparently, the dual-camera system is always working in fusion whatever the zoom being used so I would've thought it'd be useful to see some comparison shots. It'd certainly help someone like me make up his mind (I got both ready for me tomorrow).

I *thought* I had finally found one earlier but that review BGR was linking to was only using the iPhone 7 Plus (despite BGR mentioning iPhone 7 vs. iPhone 7 Plus camera review - crappy website).

Anyone has any pointer? I need to make up my mind before tomorrow after work. :)
If the 7 and 7 Plus shot exactly the same at 1x, I guess the major convenience advantage of the 7 would win me over. Otherwise, who knows.

    Thanks.

Yikes... nothing. And I just received notice that my 7 Plus 128GB shipped to my local carrier store (along with 7 128GB reserved at local Apple Store). heh

I posted about the lack of real comparisons a few days ago. I feel like this kind of stuff should be a MASSIVE part of what a "review" consists of. No real mention of fusion or how it compares. No real deep comparisons in terms of sensor performance in a range of conditions.

However it doesn't look like the dual system really adds much to the picture. Now that the 7 has OIS and the same wide angle f1.8 lens (and that the "tele" camera on the 7+ doesn't have OIS or f1.8) I don't think the difference is that big in real world situations.

    Yeah I guess.
The other thing about the Plus (at least for me) would be the "new" factor. From 6 to 6s to 7 with the same exterior design, it gets boring although I've always appreciated the improvements inside.

Too bad I can't wait for the AnandTech review (a real one). I'm pretty sure they will break down the real differences between the 7 and 7 Plus and post comparison pics. :) Oh well, still got a couple hours to decide.

I was on the fence but after reading a few thread about people describing the hard adjustment for the + I decided to stick with the normal. I've gotten really used to using it one handed, and have enough of an "active" lifestyle (mainly running to my next lecture or lab) where I think the easier use is worth it.

However there are many people that say its worth it. For me, the phone is more of a tool than a media consumption device. I use it to look stuff up and message. The better camera setup would be sweet, but at the end of the day the difference isn't huge and I have my FF DSLR when I want some real pictures.

    Good luck deciding!

The only time I use my camera phone is when it's the only camera I have handy at the time. I have four Nikon DSLRs, but even my M43 cameras (two Panasonic GX-8) is preferred if I know I'm going to shoot pictures in advance.

Does that meanthe iPhone SE/6s main camera is on par with iPhone 7/plus?

I don't think there is any difference. While the SDK allows both cameras to be used, I don't think the stock app does (until the portrait update)

Either way, the arstechnica review has comparisons with both the 7 and the 7+
