    Hi guys,

I would like to ask you for a little help. I have an iPhone 7 and it's doing great, but I feel it's time to upgrade. Since I don't have enough money for the XS I decided to take the XR. I checked it in the Apple Store and personally I think it's not as budget compared to the XS as a lot of people say. Honestly, I can't see the difference between the two displays on a day to day use.

So, if you came from the 7 to the XR, would you tell me your experiences and thoughts about it?

    Thank you!

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I actually prefer Apple's LCD screens to the OLED. I just find them easier on the eyes, and no matter how many tips and settings I tried, I can't get OLED screens to feel comfortable for night time use.
That being said, I find the XR too bulky and heavy. I like a phone that easily slides in and out of my pocket. But if you want a big screen and don't mind the bulk, I think the XR is a good choice.

Have 7 and tested Xr of my friend. Decided to wait with the upgrade till September for now, but only due to the drop in price. Good phone and can't say that it's bulcky for me.

I did that exact upgrade and although the 7 is very capable the XR blows it out of the water in terms of the overall experience. The best things about it for me are the Face ID and gestures, literally twice the battery life, and a much nicer design with cool colours

If you can’t afford the XS, and can manage the XR’s size, I would wait till September and buy the new upgraded XR, or if you still can trade in your iPhone 7 for the current XR or can’t wait then go for the current model. It’ll be a big update to an iPhone 7.

XR is great. I have a 7+. Only reason I still have it is because we are 4 months away from the new ones so I'll pull the trigger then.

Coming from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone Xʀ you will notice huge differences. The A10 in the 7 is still a good mobile chip, but the A12 in the iPhone Xʀ, XS and Max are above and beyond the best mobile chip on the planet. It literally is almost desktop speed.

You won’t experience reloads on any iPhone that has 3 or more GB of RAM. I have a Max and an iPhone Xʀ and I choose to use my Xʀ as my daily and the XS Max very rarely.

My mom has a 7 with a 99% battery, it has less than 3 hrs SOT. I’m sure with her usage a XR would have a 12+ hour SOT battery. Take your pic.
