Honestly what should we expect? And will it be called the iPhone 7? Personally I hope it gets remained to "the new iPhone" so they can stop using the numbers.

    Here are my thoughts...

No home button, or at least reduced bezels.

    Over 2 gHz CPU

    AMOLED display

Those are the big things I'm looking for :) either way I'll get it :D

They won't trash the home button for a while. Apple is in the business of making money not pleasing people or making expensive innovations

No matter how crazy cool the hardware, I so seriously hope they fix the software.

I think a major redesign, dramatic software fixes with iOS X, improved battery life, and some software extra.

Jailbreaking is purely a software change. Restoring it to factory will remove all traces.

Because people like to talk about it as if it were black market software dealings.

    Tried that on 9.0.2.
    Fixed some but plenty left.
Have to see as 9 matures. Just tired of never ending issue cycle.
Feels like I'm washing my hair - wash, rinse, repeat ...

Its about the same, but it can quickly go down if you install things that run in the background or make fancy visual effects.

There are also battery saving apps that will help by turning off cellular radio when not in use.

Mine is no different. Of course, mileage can vary on which tweaks you have installed.
