Inductive charging is ok but you can't pick the phone up and use it while its charging - it has to lay on a pad, which is the opposite to RF charging. And since the pad will be sold separately (probably $99),

99 bucks lol, I have a fast charging pad, that was delivered via eBay for for the princely sum of 4 English pounds. Had it over a year and it works a treat. You must be brain dead to pay 99 bucks for an apple one. Jeez... let me guess, it does the same job BETTER!! Lol

: No way they'll happily wait for somebody else to invent this technology, which everybody else can use, and then decide to use it.

Lol, you mean like they currently do with 99% of the things they currently sell and the bits that go inside them. You sir, are adorable...

You know what's even more adorable? When someone takes part of a sentence, misunderstands what they read, and replies with a snarky rejoinder. Now that's adorable.;)

It still has nothing to do with falainber's quote, which was a reply to keysofanxiety stating: No way they'll happily wait for somebody else to invent this technology, which everybody else can use, and then decide to use it.
That quote you attributed to me was stated by someone else.

Don't care who said it, the sentiment stands...

It's not too early ! We had been waiting for a long time. That's very good news. Apple has a long delay on chargers ...

Apple WILL NOT be using a routine inductive tech in the iPhone 8. That tech has been out for years and is boring and not very useful. Apple will incorporate a true wireless charging solution, with little charging pods that can radiate power up to 15 feet. Anybody thinking Apple is going to go inductive is truly clueless.
So much for that
