I remember in the old days (well, sort of, I was pretty young) people made jokes about phones getting smaller and smaller (Zoolander features a scene where he uses a phone so small it can only be operated with the tips of his fingers), yet now phones just keep getting bigger and bigger. What do you think the maximum size for a phone will be? Are any of you actually interested in an iPad Mini-phone?
I use my iPad Mini with cellular data as my "phone" now... and for several years now- works great! Since the bulk of my "phone" needs is texting, email & web with only a few calls, iPad Mini with buds + microphone is an excellent alternative to having a cell phone monthly fee. Instead, 2GB of data for 3 months at $25 means my maximum
annual fee for cell service is $100 and I don't really feel like I'm missing anything. In fact, the bigger-screen Mini seems like the perfect 2-birds-with-1-stone option for my "cell phone" needs. Is this a good option for everyone? Of course not. But it works perfectly for me... and saves a great deal of money because it doesn't have the monthly toll.

Just how many different screen sizes is Apple going to make?
As many as people will feel compelled to buy. WE motivate Apple to do this stuff... by buying anything they roll out.

6.46"? Apple needs to start selling iPants with big iPockets. And an iBelt to hold up said iPants.
The "pants with bigger pockets" objection was slung around to death when the 4.7" & 5.5" rumored iPhones started flying. They launched and I'm still watching for anyone in pants with bigger pockets. Apparently no one in America bought the bigger-screen phones... and I've been all over.
I suspect someone is going to work up a mockup of the 6.46" screen in a bezel-less iPhone and find that it is probably very close to the 5.5" case size now. So if the 5.5" works without the burden of special pants, I'm guessing a 6.46" would work just as well... because it would probably fill about the exact same space.

Any rumors on iPhone 10 yet?
- Thinner (because that matters to HQ more than anything except margin): "...by far the thinnest & lightest iPhone we've ever made"
- Ejecting the entire battery out to realize thinner. Separate battery packs in a variety of sizes sold separately.
- Ejecting the camera out to realize thinner too. Separate camera packs in a variety of designs sold separately.
- Both spun as ejecting "legacy technology" (both) older than the 3.5mm headphone jack while empowering customers to buy any size battery and any quality of camera they want. Both will connect via a new proprietary something so that only Apple accessory packs are available for at least 3 months following launch. Even though you'll have to buy a battery pack for the phone to work away from an electrical socket, the pack's size & weight won't be counted in the "thinner & lighter" phone spin at the big reveal.
- Introducing the new quad camera module because 4 camera packs are obviously better than 2.
- Introducing the new octet camera module because 8 camera packs are obviously better than 4.
- Because of the thinness possible with both hardware ejections, the existing Lightning port will be a "too thick" engineering issue, so... introducing the thinner Lightning 2 port
- Lightning 2 dongles sold separately (but exclusively available from Apple for about 3 months)
- A14 processor (they'll skip A13 for the superstitious). iPhone 10 running iOS 12 with an A14 processor- someone will think that (10-12-14) is brilliant.
- Pro and/or Edition tag to help roll out...
- $1499 because people will rationalize any price, spinning it as feeling more elite and solving some of the low stock problem around launch. With the better battery pack, better camera module and a headphone dongle $1799. With the new AirPods 3 in white, black, gold, or rose gold, add $200= $1999. With the quad camera pack, add $300. With the octet camera pack, add $500. Of course, everyone MUST get the octet camera pack... so they don't have to feel inferior, rationalized as why buy a $1500 iPhone and NOT get the best camera pack.
- 8K video recording, 8K FCPX and iMovie on 8K Macs. Later, 8K iPad Super-Pro. But still
TV playback hardware capped at 1080p.
- Introducing new Apple financing for iPhone for a dirt cheap monthly fee at a big fat interest rate for much too much time (to hit a target monthly payment number), with a cool way to pay the bill using Apple Pay. Emphasize the low monthly payment instead of total price.
Geekgasms for all. Then craigslist ads for kidney sales to prepare. All

... hopefully.
