iPhone Air, iPhone 17, and iPhone 17 Pro Models Available for Pre-Order

I was in the app at 4:58, but it didn’t let me until 5:10. I checked out in less than 10 seconds and I have a Sept 24-29 delivery for a Pro Max Orange 1TB.

Annoying but oh well. Not a big deal.

FWIW my partner waited at the same time for a base 17 purple 256, got in at 5:04 for a Sept 19 delivery.

Yes I see that also. I really hope they fix our early orders to be 9/19. I can work from home that day but NOT on Thursday 9/25.. 🙁

You need to stay on the „excited? So are we“ screen. After a minute or so, you’ll see the store.

I guess there is a queue system. If you refresh the page or restart the store app, you’ll be reset to the start of the queue I think.

It sucks because in years past we had to kill and restart to get things working. I just assumed that was the case this year too

Literally none of them are. Most people here reporting times like 8:01am and 9/25 delivery. I can confirm that I can in at 8:06am and the Air was already at 9/25. Now I have to go in store to get launch day...
 
As per Apple’s normal pre-order process, they have under prepared for the onslaught!

On 3 Apple devices, I was prepped to order a 17 ProMax that was in my bag. 10 minutes after seeing their BS “Excited & Stay here” pages I was allowed to purchase my bags contents. Delivery is 2weeks out, not next Friday.

Certainly not a world-ending event but it seems Tim needs to focus on the IT and sales organization to better ramp up for these events.

Year-after-year, it seems Apple just gets worse at handling these events launch purchasing process.
 
Seems like most iPhone 17 Pro Max orders aren’t until 9/25.

iPhone air orders that nobody wants are for 9/19.

Apple is clearly pushing the crappy iphone air with exclusive black color and sooner shipping times. I don’t want that phone though.

Oh well, 9/25 it is.
 
Store app seems buggy. My order went through, email, etc but I still show a complete your preorder tab in the Apple Store app.
 
256GB Air Sky Blue for 9/19 pickup!

For what it’s worth, it was also showing 9/25 as the shipping option initially for all models on my end, but now it’s properly showing 9/19 for delivery on everything.
