I haven’t found any battery or heating issues at all
The battery life has totally exceeded what I was expecting the more I use this phone the happier I am… never had a heating issue. I think it’s mostly just jealousy having to carry the heaviest iPhone ever made with an aluminum shell prone to dents and scratches just to have a better battery and a better camera can’t even imagine.

I see the Air is still in stock on the UK Apple store
Yeah it’s in stock many places 17 base is out of stock and the pro I will have to wait now but I’m sending the Air back tonight. Amazing phone just not quite there for me yet , obviously the next version will have some updates then I will definitely jump on the air .

I’m still very torn with Air and my 16P. I do love using the Air but it’s £10 more a month plus AC+. Not sure if it’s worth £22 a month more than my 16P.

For me personally it not worth it with the battery and looking at the 17 having that extra camera and more battery better speaker for not far off the same weight and a cheaper price . Yes the screen size is smaller I just feel for the price I’m giving up to much. I’m going with base for 1 year and upgrade next year if the air or fold tickle my fancy,

I just want to try a smaller lighter phone from the 15 pro max

For your case I guess u got to ask yourself if the look feel of the phone is what you want most . And u won’t miss or need the extra you get from your pro.

It’s a tough decision it was for me but I think I would regret the air after a few months.

I struggle with the 16 Pro battery so the Air isn’t a downgrade in that regard.

I think I am going to be keeping the Air, but seeing how the weekend goes before confirming go sure. It is definitely not for everyone, but I love the design so much.

At least for me, the enjoyment of holding and using the device is something that doesn’t show up on a spec sheet but makes it preferable over the other phones.

Absolutely, this is the main factor that everybody who hasn’t tried it simply doesn’t understand.

We spend the majority of our time holding the phone in our hand or pocket, so for anyone who isn’t going to miss the cameras it’s the single biggest consideration.

Ok think I’m over it , great looking phone but overall I feel I’m watching the battery too much. And as time goes by I’m going to regret it as I don’t want to think about battery it’s going back and I might look at the 17 in sage , see what happens next year.
I use my sage without a case. I can't believe how much I love this color.

Phone is killer too.

As much as I have enjoyed using my 15 Pro Max, and it is still a great iPhone, I recently took delivery of my new Air and have to say I have been blown away with the build quality of this new iPhone and love that it is the thinnest and lightest iPhone I have ever had. I had the 6S and and iPhone X and have to say this new Air is amazing and I like that it also has the A19 Pro processor so performance of this iPhone so it has some of the high end attributes of the Pro line but yet remain in it's own unique "swim lane".

It is not the perfect iPhone but for my uses, more than adequately lives up to what I need an iPhone for. I love the single camera as it takes amazing quality pictures, very surprised by this iPhone even after having it a week.

I have the 15 pro max and love the air and really wanted to keep it , but it’s just not quite there for me yet and idk why I immediately ignored the 17 but that looks my choice and the battery life should be more than my 15 pro max

I think you’ll want a pro for better battery?

That’s all fake news basically - I dropped my 17 pro max yesterday and not a single dent or scratch!

Still deciding between the Air and 17PM (I know…)

The PM is what everyone knows already, surprisingly ok to hold but too heavy one handed. Haven’t seen any scratch yet but I have been careful.

I’ve talked myself into getting over the USB deal breaker. After a few more days I actually found the Air hard to hold. The thinness actually hurts my pinky after a while. Clawing it isn’t that comfortable either because the phone is kinda wide.

I’m actually considering the small 17P…but it’s been out of stock everywhere.

I’m pleased to read this because I’ve found the same. I also find the thinness can make it more prone to slipping int hand. I love it two-handed, but part of me thinks I prefer the 16Pro in the hand.

(Edit to say after posting this I picked up the Air and thought “ooh this is nice!” 🤣

Funny how these things circle back. More than 10 years ago, some people had the same slipping and pinky problem with iPhone 6 Plus, which was the thinnest iPhone at the time.

I’ve tried holding it higher up (seen people say they use the camera ledge to put their index finger against) but the width isn’t easy for me to scroll like that. I put it in my left hand and I almost immediately drop it when i try to scroll.
