Why not just get one of the FREE alarm Apps ffrom appstore that allows you to play any song from your library as an alarm. Mine works a treat and doesnt drain battery as it wakes from sleepmode but the app must be active while in sleepmode

help help help can't find a iphone alarm clock ring tone.

I would be in much debt to who ever can tell me how to get this or what the name of it is, it's a download of an alarm clock that I heard from an iphone but don't know where it's from. Here are the lyrics:

(ringing in the background)
Hey steve one more thing every time you hear the(maybe: this) iphone ring it's a song to sing, nana nananananana

I can't find it so if anyone has heard it and knows anything about it.

Well, think about it this way - what happens when you turn an alarm clock off? Does it still wake you up? No. It's not a problem, you are turning the power off, of course the alarm function of the iPhone is not going to go off.

As for the alarms draining the battery (any more than when normally in standby) is a silly notion. That's like saying the clock drains the battery because it continually keeps the time. Don't leave any applications running when you lock it for the night; always go back to the home screen first. My phone usually runs two full days on one charge which includes about 7 hours of usage, but one night after a charge I must have left the stock app open and the battery was at 20% when I got up in the morning.

I think the op was talking about the ringer volume being off. I'd like to know about this. I don't want to be awaken in the middle of the night by the phone ringing, but I'd like to be awaken by my alarm. How is this done? Now, when I turn my ringer off, my alarm is also silent. My old crappy non-iphone accomplished this. I'll be disappointed if the iphone can't.

This is a 3 year old thread that's been bumped... I could have sworn that I set my iPhone4 sound switch to 'off' every night and my alarm still rings (IOS 4.2.1)... I just tested it and sure enough it works! So, hopefully, it will also work for you...
