Does 3.0 make the 3g sloooooower?

Just notice a general lag in launching and switching between apps.....

Anyone else notice this?

The camera still takes an age to load, but then it always did.

Still loving the phone, but it seems the update has made the waiting times longer.

Some people have said that there devices have been slower with 3.0. You could do two things: Try to restore as a new device or wait for 3.1 to come out in the coming days.

Why September, probably August. Show me the source that says September. It is already in Beta 3.

Think 3.1 will support Skype?
 
It would be nice if we could have an info button in the movies/tv shows tab added in the iPod app. So that we could view the meta data that we have added to the movies/tv shows, e.g. What a certain tv episode is about, or who directed the film etc. This annoys me that this function hasn't already been put in. Otherwise what is the point of only being able to view this in iTunes it should work for the iPhone/iPod touch...what do you think?
 
This has been driving me nuts. I did a search & came up with nothing.

My mail icon is showing a #1, but there is no new emails. I have done hard resets, opened all emails again, etc....

Anyone else experience this phenomenon?
 
Can't buy movies directly

I have read most of the posts, sorry if I am repeating something that someone has mentioned already. I am having an issue with buying movies or audiobooks directly via itunes on my ipod touch. It is a 1st gen ipod touch and i have upated it to version 3.0, i can buy songs no problem but there is no button to buy movies, there is one that says preview but that doesn't work. I have restored it and tried again but still no luck! Is anyone else having this issue and more importantly can you help!?
 
Look at the screenshots below of the YouTube application. It shows 276 new videos, when there are actually only 5 new videos.

Another issue I have noticed is that the auto correct feature does not always show the possible corrected word all the time.

Yet another issue I have found is that, the Notes application is a bit laggy in landscape mode.

Finally, I have noticed that sometimes, the Notes application gets the wrong title of a note.

That seems like an issue with the iTunes Store, more than 3.0. Have you tried a restore?

Update On This Thread

Over the last few hours, I have been in contact with Doctor Q on trying to solve the issue with character amount in the original post. Doctor Q and I have come up with a solution (along with a few other moderators) for creating a Mac Guide.

Ive only tried this on my 3GS, but it may work on other devices too (in fact, I'll be sure to try this on my 2G touch when I get home).

Start playing music. Now, change the volume and keep your finger on the volume slider - DO NOT remove it. Now, tilt your phone so that it goes into cover flow. The device mutes. This happens regardless of which way you tilt the device to get into cover flow.

Wow. That's weird. Same thing happened to me. Anyone else? I added this under "Notes".
 
Please look at the screenshot of the Music applications. As you see, the menu bar at the top is black, not its solid silver color when in the Music app. I have added this to the Bugs list in the Mac Guide.

You have an option for "I have not had any issues with 3.0," which IMO is "no trouble" right?

Edit: Guess I got in late for the party, since you were adding that choice b4 I came on this thread.
 
Before I post the following issue to the list, can anyone please test it out on their device?:

Steps:

1. Open Notes and Open a New Note
2. Type anything in the New Note
3. Select all the text and select copy
4. Create another new note and copy the text in
5. Go back to the original note and delete all the text and select "Notes" in top Left
6. Empty note remains there. Should be automatically removed.

Any ideas?
 
I noticed another issue with Music and other media applications. It seems as though, when you enter it, it shows the first item highlighted, like you are holding your finger on it, but I was not. Anyone else?
