looks like Bumper and Incase are shipping and others no news
Indeed, I just got the mail from Apple that my clear Incase Snap Case Pro has shipped.
I can't wait for the InCase smoke to ship. My phone started out naked. Read the horror stories of the glass shattering from falls. I got a Belkin Grip Vue that i do love. Also, a Colors for when i'm in situations where i'm using it more. Was in the Apple store saturday and we were playing around with FaceTime. I just kept thinking how much i love this phone naked. So i'm even more anxious now to get this Snap case being it's so minimal. I'd still use the other cases depending on the conditions i'm in. Also wanted to rip the cheap screen protector i got from AT&T off. I wish Apple would sell them again. I'm torn on which one to order. Guessing i'll go with PS crystal.

I got my clear Incase Snap Case on 8/12 and I love it! It's really thin yet solid plastic. It doesn't detract at all from the design of the iPhone.I also love the plastic reversible iPhone stand that came with it. Apple included one like it with the 1G iPod Touch I used to have and I really missed it.

I just read another thread on here that Apple is no longer allowing changes to orders. I wanted to switch mine from the Pixelskin HD to a Bumper since I already have a Pixelskin HD. Now I'm left trying to Pixelskin HD for a Bumper with someone who will deal

They do allow changes as long as your order status is still 'Not yet shipped'. You just need to talk to a rep that actually knows what he/she is doing otherwise they'll give you some random BS. After jumping through a couple hoops I was able to switch out my Pixelskin HD for the InCase Snap.
I wouldn't bet on it. There's a slim chance they may but at this point there are two or three decent cases to choose from so you might as well go with one of them. If they add more they probably won't be dramatically better than what's already there.
What two or three cases would you recommend? Ive been looking at the griffen reveal etch.

I do not recommend the griffith reveal etch! It is not good. The rubbery sides are too flimsy and do not grip tightly against the case.
I would recommend the incase snap or the pixelskin HD.
I'm still trying to either trade my griffith reveal etch with someone, or return it to apple. Waiting for someone from apple to contact me...
Like the above poster said, the two InCase Snap cases are good (just a matter of color preference) and the PixelSkin HD is also a solid choice. The bumper is decent but if you want any sort of protection for the back then obviously this wouldn't be an ideal case. Those would be your best choices but ultimately it comes down to personal preference. Most of these cases have been out long enough that you can find plenty of reviews (video reviews can be even better) on each case and that should help you decide some.
I ended up ordering the Incase Snap smoke. I was leaning towards one of the clear cases.
Incase Snap Clear: worried that the would be too prone to revealing scratches and being a fingerprint magnet
Belkin Shield Micra: was considering this but decided against it after from seeing some negative comments from someone who received one on Tivocommunity
PixelSkin HD, Speck Fitted case (seen a similar one at A&T stores before): ugly to me
Griffin Reveal Etch: somewhat ugly to me
Griffin Motif: I eventually thought the diamond pattern didn't look that bad but wasn't too keen on it either after seeing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT3CEFIBVBk. Concerned about durability too. Holes seemed like they might block some cables and headphones.
silicone cases: ruled out due to potential durability issues and I didn't like the holes

went with the incase clear snap...sort of want the smoke incase snap after seeing the pictures but eh what can you do.

2) Dirt/sand getting in between the case and the back of the phone, resulting in scratches. I have an InvisibleShield-style skin I may install to negate this

Got my delivery email for the HD. Pretty annoyed by the reports that Speck have produced a cheaper and inferior version for the case programme. Dishonest if true.
