Can’t really think that’s a design change for the better. I liked the iPhone pixel pro design more. And only one camera is strange in 2025. Or it has to be a very, very good one.

Under his regime, the only thing that has pleased me is the 2020 M1 MacBook Air which I purchased and still use. Silent, cool, decent screen and serves my basic needs. Not wow, but decent.

I think the proposed camera configuration is very unlikely. They changed the position of the cameras on the non-Pro phone so it could take stereoscopic video for watching with Apple Vision. This charge would mean that the cameras are configured poorly for stereo video in a landscape orientation.
From an eco-system perspective this would be a big step backwards.

A horizontal bar across the back could be for big improvement to selfie camera, microphone, and flashlight.

I wonder if all the cell companies in the US are planning on raising prices this fall right before the 17 line launches?
I know T-Mobile raised prices (or reconfigured their plans) in Fall 2023 so you had to upgrade to the new plan to get the heavily discounted 15. I believe the others did as well.

Why not both? Not like the same teams work on hardware and software anyway

Bingo! Apple's PR is currently on an "ALL NEW" kick for each and every product.
So maybe there are other reasons?
Given the marked animosity toward Apple, Cook, and the iPhone itself, why would you even own an iPhone or any other Apple product. Makes NO sense to me.
