I’ve noticed that my display sits slightly higher on the upper side where the volume buttons are and maintains that height difference on the other side around the power button and the top around the speaker. However, on the lower part, the display appears to be right under the frame or at the same level, looks like the display sits low exactly where the mechanical clips are holding it to the chassis and since there aren’t any clips near the buttons on both sides maybe that’s the reason why it’s slightly higher there?

Do you notice the same thing on your phone? I pointed out the small reflection and you can see a gap in the first picture while it’s flush in the second, it’s around 0.3 to 0.5mm difference. This is a height difference not a width difference and I can feel it with my fingernail so it’s not just a reflection trick.

The phone is brand new like week 2 weeks old and never dropped, I’m from a country that doesn’t have Apple Store so my “replacement option” is nonexistent.

The glass on my iPhone isn’t “flush” with the frame; it sits a few thou high (I.e. a few tenths of a mm). Seems pretty consistent all the way around though.
