I'm on the fence. The price is significant, but I could sell of my iPad Pro and essentially consolidate my iPhone and iPad into this device. But man, I really love my iPhone Air. So yeah, not too sure.
Tempting. I was pretty set on getting an 18 Pro but now I'm debating whether to go for the Duo. It looked impressive.

I think in a few years, when the software and the hardware designs have matured, then I might get really tempted. But for now though, I just want a regular-sized normal phone. The iPhone 18 Pro is what I'm looking at...
(though I do have to admit, a lot of games would probably play really well on this first-generation Duo, so... maybe... 👀)

Nope. I'm content with the 17 Pro I have and there is nothing in the Duo that I need or desire and moreover, the price is too much for me to spend on something I don't need or desire.
Given the memory shortage I'm happy they were able to keep it under $2K (I don't need the extra storage), but yes $2K is a lot.

The Pro Max is £700 less than the folding one, it’s not close in cost.

Not having the same or better camera system as the pro is deal killer for me, also I don’t like bulky phones in my pocket, so this for me is a negative. For the same money you could get a Pro and an iPad. The durability is likely to be less than normal iPhone.

A 2TB 18 Pro Max is $2499. A base Duo is $1999. Yes the pricing is right there for both phones in the same ridiculous ballpark unless you're being pedantic.
I'm still getting a Duo. Probably the 512 since I've not ever filled up 512 previously. As a content creator different priorities.
It actually looks nicer than I thought but not for me for an everyday phone. I’ll stick with the 18 Pro Max in Black. If the Duo makes it to a version 2, maybe I’ll consider.
