We don't even know if the iPhone will be labeled "Edition." Personally, I'm not worried about the price at the moment and I will just wait until September gets here. If there are two LED models, they will likely be similarly priced to the current models. The rumored OLED model could start around $900.00.

I'm budgeting 1500-2000 for a high end version. If Apple can charge 1200 for an Apple Watch what is stopping them from charging the same margins for an iPhone. I kinda hope it is priced at a premium to keep away normies and simpletons. This is the 10th Anniversary iPhone I'm expecting something special for Steve.

I'm guessing $2500. It will only be available in one configuration and come with a wireless charging pad and some kind of fancy commemorative box.

What's the cost of a TV show got to do with Apple?

    Ohhh…sorry. ;)

    Thought you said Inside Edition

What the hell though. Maybe Inside Edition knows what Apple will charge. Ask them!

Maybe I'm naive but there's no way they'll charge 2k for it.

My guess is $120O for the top end model (if rumors hold true).

If you have to ask the price, then it means you probably shouldn't buy it.

The return of the PREMIUM iPhone and the status symbol restored! Too many plebs with an iPhone right now.

The "haves" and the elite will rejoice in September.

Its going to need to be pretty impressive to command a high price from me.

Implementing things that other companies have already been doing isn't going to cut it for me personally. Not at a premium price anyway.

I'm not going to judge it until its announced though.

Well if you are talking seriously, I am not even thinking about it yet as I have so much going on in my life based on actual facts, that rumors are not very high up on my list of things to consider.

Now if you just talking s***s and giggles, then since I paid $1,000 for my 7 Plus 256GB Jet Black, I suppose that price up to 20% more, so $1,200 is about what i would expect.

Course at that price, unless there are some major reasons to change, I may consider keeping my 7 Plus another year. It's running perfectly, looks brand new and is the best iphone I have ever had. Not sure how much better they can actually get. Super fast, great battery life, superb screen, great radio reception. Zero issues.

I've heard this said before about various things (or more usually the variation, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it") but it's actually a really silly mentality. Some of the wealthiest people on Earth are also the most conscientious about how they spend their money. Often that's why they're wealthy, and how they stay that way. It's the rich people who just buy things without a thought who wind up going bankrupt.

Act now, and Apple will include a Ginsu knife, which will allow you to carve up the competition without ever having to worry about being dull.

We're talking about a phone, not a high end sports car. If I want to know how much something costs, it doesn't mean I shouldn't buy it or can't afford it.

I buy iPhones because I love iOS and I like the phones, not because it's a status symbol. Can't stand the attitude of people thinking they're better than others because they have more money.

A lot of times they don't even have more money. They just spend it irresponsibly to look like they have more.

No but this isn't an iPhone 8 this is a preview phone with advanced technology. A peak into the future. If you can wait, 2019 will have all the same features. If not it will cost you.

Hah yeah right. No matter how much this iPhone costs, the 2019 phone will be better. That's just how tech works.

I am predicting $1k for the base + $100 for each bump in storage size.
    --- Post Merged, Mar 11, 2017 ---
I agree, $1200 for the highest storage.
