Best Case Scenario: $999
Highest Priced Scenario: $1,499
I think it depends if Apple is really just wanting to create the best iPhone they can or if they are using this as an opportunity to push it has a true luxury item (like Apple Watch Edition). I really hope they don't go the "luxury" route, because that just seems really tacky to me and I think would piss off a ton of customers. However, if Apple thinks they could get away with it, they probably would.
If I had to throw down a prediction I'd say they'll wanna hit the $999 price point. And honestly, it makes sense that Apple will try to figure out some way to increase revenue at a time when people are holding on to their iPhones longer.
