It will include EarPods and a USB cable with power adapter. Most expensive iPhone 7 does not come with extras and there's no reason this will be different. AirPods are what, 160? Dock is what, 50? No way you are getting over 200$ worth of goods for free.

Nobody said they would be including anything "for free."

No, dual horizontal lenses would be much more advantageous to AR than VR. As I mentioned before, it would make for better tracking and implementing objects in a 3D world. I'm well aware that VR cameras exists as I've shot and edited their footage. VR cameras require, at a minimum, two 180 degree lenses. One on the front and one on the back so that you can stitch those two images into one 360 degree view. Most VR cameras have more than two lenses/sensors to get a better capture. Adding a second lens horizontally on the back of the iPhone aids in stereoscopic video, but not 360 degree video.

You claim that so many of us around here are wrong, and if that's the case, please explain.
i think you hit the nail on the head here.

BlackBerry was on top of the world for a long time, their phones were actually very well built. It's only a matter of time before Apple faces the same fate, everything that goes up must come down.

As we're talking about Apple, nobody claimed they would not raise the price for including such extras ...;)
The cost increase is for the phone, not to make people buy AirPods and a dock. I will be pissed if I'm forced in to buying products I don't want.

I'm not even joking: My guess is that the OLED iPhone 8 will cost $1200
This is why I'm absolutely certain there will be a 7S and 7S plus.
Also, the OLED model will be limted and sold out in seconds.
The forum will rage, I can already tell.
Yeah...not sure why you quoted me. I'm not going to speculate price but like I said, $200+ worth of products included are not the reason why it may be more expensive. This phone will be the phone to get from Apple and it will sell out, they all do at first.

"I was thinking if apple does indeed make the OLED a "Pro" or more expensive model whatever you want to call it, I wonder if they will include AirPods and a dock. Like apple includes the dock for the ceramic watch?"

That's what I responded to. Include is the word that insinuates free. If not, they meant the new iPhone doesn't cost anymore to build which is a fallacy.

But unfortunately if frame material will not bend when dropped then all the stress/shock will be transferred to glass, which will make the screen to shatter.
The material used for frame should be able to absorb most of the stress/shock when a phone is dropped, it is better to have a dent in the frame than a shattered screen.

Actually, Liquidmetal has incredible elastic properties. If thin enough, it will bend but it is elastic. It can also be injection molded like plastic which is a huge advantage in manufacturing rather than machining things from an aluminum block.

Yes, you need cameras to capture VR movies for use with VR.

Go do a web search for VR camera. Get it?

VR....

Completely unecessary for AR. However, for taking VR video...hence the term, VR, that so many people here think must be a mistake but are just wrong...
You think this is for recording 360 degree video? That's completely wrong and you must not have a very good understanding of what AR is vs. VR. One overlays the real world and one creates a new world. I doubt very much that Apple is catering to the very small sector of users who want to shoot 360 degree video and watch it back in a headset.

Give me one reason why Apple would think we want to create 360 degree video (not VR) and watch it back in a VR headset. Have you not heard Tim talk about wanting to pursue AR?
