If 2.3 is to be a "big" update, Bluetooth syncing would be good. As would themes..

O god, no themes. Unless they're approved my Apple, then I wouldn't mind... but some of the themes that are on Cydia are ugly as hell and people that use them are disrespecting Apple IMO.

It's "bullcrap" because you're incapable of even pressing the send button properly?

Ok.

I'm just saying... the send button has to be hit very precisely to get it to work. I usually have to tap it 3 times before it will accept my thumb-press.

However... if you look at the top of the SMS window, there's a "clear" button. You can hit that by pressing to the left of it. You don't even need to be ON the button to activate it.

Just a few days ago, we decided we needed to make something up to get more traffic to our site.

We thought we'd guess at some of the things that might be in there too.

All of the details are just guesses.

that we know about.

We are smoking crack.

Ha ha ha. Brilliant :)

Something must be wrong with your phone then.

I just have to lightly tap the send button and it sends.

Genius and spot on. The comment about Bluetooth syncing completely invalidated the article. There will never be Bluetooth syncing.

Delete all mail at once? haha, if it happens people will then start to complain about deleting all their mail accidentally, that's a terrible idea if it's true.

Lawl at bluetooth syncing.

I'm not talking about how hard you have to tap the button... You just have to be perfectly centered over the word send (ie: you can't tap the blue part of the button, you have to tap the word part). It's not a big deal... I'd rather it be harder to hit than having it be a huge area that would be easy to mistakenly hit while typing the letter "p" or something.

Well, I just did a test to my other phone, and while pressing the P, I clumsily hit the edge of the send button with my thumb. Wasn't even precisely in the middle. Just on the perimeter.

Imagine texting on a bus, or walking. You seriously think that having the send button right next to the keyboard isn't an issue for accidental sending?

That doesn't happen to me. Where should the send button be?

Well that's good it doesn't happen to you - but it sounds like your phone is faulty if you have to be very precise to tap it :)

If should be away from the keyboard obviously, top left maybe.

I don't think they should move it. I like it where it is. It behaves the same exact way on all 3 of my iPhones. Maybe YOUR iPhone is faulty. Hehehe ;) Or perhaps you're faulty because you don't know how to hit the "p" key.

How would my phone be faulty for actually working when I press a button?

And you missed my point about walking or being on a bus - jerks and movements, of course your going to mis hit a 'p' key in situations like that.

Maybe you both are faulty and your phones are fine because you are arguing about a damn send button... I think the send button is in a fine location. I have never hit it accidentally but sometimes it does take a sec to get my finger right so that it activates it. I would, however, love to see a cancel button because there has been plenty of times that I have read my message after sending and I typed it wrong without noticing.

Oh I am sure you have NEVER sent a txt that had a mistake in it... yeah right.

No - I read and type as I go along. And any mistakes, I don't notice until I get a reply from someone asking what the heck I mean because of the iPhone spell checker.

You denied ever making a mistake and then you admitted to making a mistake in the same post...? You must not be reading very well if you still let mistakes through.

Maybe admitting he made a mistake was a mistake because of the iPhone's spell checker.
Crazy coincidence. :p

No you aren't reading very well, or understanding.

I said that I've never made a mistake and needed to "cancel" it, because I always read before I send. But the odd, and rare mistake I do make (usually when I'm drunk) is because of the iPhone spell checker, and I didn't notice when I read it over.

Therefore a cancel button wouldn't be any use to me, understand? :)

@Vista
Oh that made me laugh a little, okay a lot!

Even if someone doesn't make a mistake while typing they may leave something out. Not everyone has unlimited messaging so it could have saved them a message.

[edit]
And once again your latest post brings up the saving messages point. There is no point in wasting time saying "What?" back and forth just because of a mistake. A cancel button is a great idea. You have proved that yourself.

Tell me a single phone that offers a cancel button. It won't work because of the way SMS works. You can't cancel an email can you?

And I haven't proved that myself. Again, you are failing to read - I don't blame you if English isn't your first language though..

Every phone I had before the iPhone had that option. I dont think you can cancel an email on the iPhone, but you can with many desktop clients.

As stated before, a lot of phones have this function just by hitting the end button. I had two LG phones that allowed the user to do this. As for email, it is free. Txt messages cost money and a lot of people would like to avoid sending pointless messages such as a message that will get an unwanted response of "What?" or if they leave something out and have to send another one. It just makes sense to have this option. But hey if you don't have these problems listed above then don't worry about it. Keep in mind, however, that you are not the only iPhone user and that there are other users that would love to see a cancel button added.

<SNIP> These fixes include fixing the super slow sync speeds which many users (including me) face daily on a PC.

Have you tried turning off your error / crash details being sent to Apple - search the threads for more - was a known problem a while back for some.

You have to define super slow. If you're using USB 1 and syncing a lot then.... it'll be slow.

I'd imagine OS 3.0 would have USB 3, and wifi syncing ;)

^ Was that directed towards me? I didn't even write that, wtf!
