Wild take, so because you saw them using closed it’s pointless? So you’re saying you are with those people all day? No you aren’t. They will use it closed walking and open when at a table or at home. That’s the whole point of Foldables
Yes, and I think that’s silly – carrying around 2x phone, and using 0.5 when you actually need a phone.

It will definitely be the device that makes foldable phones more mainstream. Apple in particular, has been the company that makes new technology mainstream once they choose to adopt it.
Apple will certainly make a positive impact on the foldable smartphone sector. The challenge will be overcoming their late arrival. Samsung released their first folding phone in September of 2019.

My current experience with my Z Fold7 has been exemplary. Fast, thin and light it’s an excellent example of what's possible.

I would truly enjoy a folding iPhone if Apple applies their expertise and equips it competitively. However if they take a cost cutting minimal approach with the priority being premium pricing and maximum profits then I am not interested.

Another challenge is the fact that Samsung and others have already advanced into triple screens which offer a new set of features that provide an even more impressive content consumption and productivity experience.

Apple may not be able to overcome being so far behind.
