I’ve named it the iPhoneBook.Bring back the "iBook" and "PowerBook" names for the foldable! Do it!
I assume it comes in yellow?I’ve named it the iPhoneBook.
Because, I've worked there!! and know everyone that would be working on that project!According to whom? so we're supposed to trust you over really plugged in analysts?
Sooooo, ummmm... you do realize that you might possibly have something of a credibility problem, right?Because, I've worked there!! and know everyone that would be working on that project!
The “iPhoneBook” comes in both yellow and white.I assume it comes in yellow?
"Let your fingers do the swiping"The “iPhoneBook” comes in both yellow and white.
I wasn’t clear. What I’d like to see is a phone about half the size of this rumoured device. Folded up I want something that’s half as big as typical iPhones are now. I’m quite certain there would be a market for a device like that. This is entirely unscientific but most people who see me using my iPhone 13 mini are quite interested in its size and more than a few have commented that they wish their iPhone was smaller and lighter.Thats what this is.
They used LiquidMetal Technology on the 3G (maybe 3GS) iPhones. I had one and it felt like it was stronger than titanium. There were always rumors of Apple using this metal in the frame of the iPhone, which I think would be superior to the frame used today with titanium. Also skyrocketed LQMT's stock briefly around that time in 2008.I didn't know Apple's SIM ejector tool was made of such a highend material. I am also very excited for the folding iPhone although it might take a lot of convincing to switch from a regular shaped iPhone.
Yeah, whatever you say!!Sooooo, ummmm... you do realize that you might possibly have something of a credibility problem, right?
Your recent post history shows that you've stated several times that you used to work at Apple -- but you've also made conflicting statements about Apple's plans for folding devices. Specifically, you've stated in this thread and in at least two other threads that the project was cancelled in 2023... but you also stated previously that the project was cancelled in 2022.
However, in another post, you stated that you worked for Apple from 1989 to 2011... a far cry from the entire folding phone phenomena, as the very first production runs of folding phones didn't arrive until 2018.
You've also claimed to be a Mac user since 1984, in spite of the fact that the vast majority of your recent posts appear to be rather scathing commentaries on everything Apple has ever done. (I didn't go all the way back through your history, mind... as that would take much more time than I'm willing to commit to this one critique.)
On top of that, if you had actually been an employee of Apple recently enough to know the things you claim, you'd almost certainly still be under a non-disclosure agreement... I shudder to think what legal actions might be coming your way, (or to your friends still at Apple) if anything you've said was actually accurate, salient and revelatory.
So to reiterate FranApple's sentiment: why exactly should we believe you, over other analysts? Be specific... I'm sure that Apple's lawyers will greatly appreciate it.
How long have you been a Macrumors member? 2014, and your in Mexico? and I'm in Campbell, Ca 5 miles from Apple HQ.Sooooo, ummmm... you do realize that you might possibly have something of a credibility problem, right?
