What is it with my American friends and Verizon/Cincular? Surely there is more than 2 phone networks in the States?

Verizon and Cingular are probably the 2 biggest. We also have T-Mobile, Sprint/Nextel, US Cellular, and a ton of regional carriers.

The design makes no sense. If it's supposed to be video iChat, why is the camera on the back of the phone...i can't see who i'm talking to. This is a fake fo sho.

Introducing... The iPhone Video - Apple revolutionizes technology with a new design for phones that uses a rotary "wheel" to dial phone numbers...

(Sorry, I didn't put much time into it...)

Dude, great work, thanks for the laugh.

As for the phone. I know its a fake, but I am extreamly hopeful for a phone of any sorts from Apple on Tuesday. I am tired of my Moto v3i with iTunes... I want the real thing! Come on apple!!

Why is it supposed to be video chat? It is a fake it was already admitted from what I remember.

Everyone assumes that iChat means Video chatting. Why can't it just be a phone that has iChat on it, and integrates really well with iChat users. My windows mobile phone does that. It uses MSN messenger really well.

Video iChat would be the thing everyones demanding but no one is using or truly wanting...

An Apple phone would be awesome. I've had the same Nextel phone for about 4 years so I think it's time for an update. I think whatever design they use, it definitely needs an ipod-like scroll wheel.

Think Different

I don't belive this is real. Its to big. Phones are getting smaller and smaller so why would apple make somthing this large?

I don't think apple would do a mobile video phone. There really isn't a market for it yet. Two years ago at CES several companies were pitching video phones for land lines and I still havn't seen any on the shelves and nobody I know has one. Plus, if Apple won't do a tablet Mac stating there isn't a profitable market why would they do a video phone? The camera is most likely ment to be just a regualr camera.

So why "Think Different"?

I have seen several USB handsets come to market over the last year geared towards VoIP users. With iChat using VoIP there would be a market for a Mac handset. And with built-in Bluetooth standard on just about every Mac why not make a bluetooth handset? The size would be right as it wouldn't have to be as compact and the shape would make sense to match the current apple offerings.

That said I'm 99% sure this is a fake.

There's a video somewhere on YouTube that prooves it's fake, people. I think it's in the second update of this article here on MR.

The iTalk Pod

my brother (who is a transexual) was going out with this one-legged prosthetics sales man, who sold a false knee to a bloke with a camera.

Well, anyway, this camera got stolen, right, and he had given up on ever finding it, until the police called him up to say they had found it during a drugs heist in, lets say the southern hemisphere.

When he went through the pictures on it he found this iTalk Pod. So obviously he gave it me to put on flickr. He's a real nice guy, and he totally exists, 110%.

I don't know if its real, but I do think its real, so thats good enough for me.

Opinions folks?

I kinda like this one...it's not too busy:)

Yeah, very Apple-y. I would prefer it to be black (though I prefer white MB's).

I like this one best so far...:D

I have a friend by the name of S. Jobs and he sent me this image but told me to be really hush hush about it.

The original "iChat Mobile" fake in this thread is pretty ugly IMO. But some of these others look pretty good actually... I wonder if Apple checks these out for ideas.

I can't see them having hardware that slides open and closed though... too breakable and asthetically unpleasing. Nice photoshop though! :)

Apple doesn't do covers. It will most likely be like the iPod, with an internal, rechargeable battery.

Neither will you be able to change the SIM card. When you want to change the provider, you'll have to buy a new iPhone. It's way to complicated for users to change the SIM card themselves. :D
