jailbreakme.com is up to itunes latest version. Also I did look up on the internet and it took to many many different websites but all the answers were very useless, like, you should stop stealing or what a stealer. Sometimes its justt off topic, so i came to this website because i thought it would help. which it eventually did.
Wait ! will all my data be erased ? I need it ! I cant replace all my contacts, it took hours to get it in the first place. Also if it does erase any possible ways to get it back ?

Like I said i just had my computer working 4 hours ago. So I havent gotten to sync anything. The motherboard is wiped out completely.
Yes, my mistake again. Im saying everything was wiped out. When I installed Itunes again my library is gone. I might just check things out tomorrow, because apparently Im thinking wrong. Thanks for the help.

Don't Jailbreak, Don't Try To 'Hack' anything.
There is a reason these things are difficult and not always stable.
You will save yourself a lot of trouble and your parents a lot of iPhone money if you just use things as intended and stop screwing around.
Tell all your other 14 year old friends, and also, get off my lawn.

I believe jailbreakme.com was only up to 4.0.1. The hole used to jailbreak was patched in 4.0.2. .......4.1 started the Limera1n and Greenpois0n era. Im headed back to the hacks section, hope this doesn't cause to much confusion!! LOL

I dont want to be cruel but let me offer you some advice. Language is key to making something(read money) in this world. The first words you speak to someone make a lasting impression and could very well be the last one you make on someone that could advance your career and life. Young kids have often said that they care nothing of what others think of them. If one cares nothing for what others think, they must not think highly of themselves. I'm glad you got your iPhone working and I hope you learned something about it. I hope this thread also may teach you that something else other than just tech stuff. I wish you well.
OMG people! Why so mean? Even if he's from an English - speaking country, that doesn't mean he speaks English as his native language! The reason why people come to forums such as this is for help and advice. They may not know whether their phone is 32 or 36 GB, and that's fine. Either help, or shut your pieholes and go somewhere else!

ClutchThese. I restored and updated my phone, then once it was done it said an error had occured. What is wrong. It wouldnt restore nor update it. Now Im in recovery mode.
You might be SOL. The only firmware being signed right now is 4.2.1. So unless you saved your SSH blobs in Cydia you will lose your jailbreak AND unlock for 4.1. You need to put the lower firmware on your phone, but you might have already updated your baseband to an unlockable version if you tried to update to 4.2.1
