i bet he is getting the error during restore because his host file is modified to point to cydia and not apple.

Ok. You've obviously stollen the phone. Your whole problem has stemmed from not being able to access the phone due to the password. Why not just ask your dad??? Because it didn't really come from him. If your dad gave you a jailbroken iPhone and your having issues with it,why not ask him for assistance? If it was his he is obviously doing more than just what apple allows, such as using it on a different network. I'm sure he had to do some research just to find out how all of that is done.

Your lack of half way proper English, your urgency to get this done along with too many holes in your story on how you came about the phone. One can only come to the conclusion that the phone is stolen. I would like to believe I'm wrong but it seems unlikely.

My Iphone was either disabled or something, since it needs to be restored. I wanna first off say that this is not a stolen phone. I got it as a gift (36G) and Yes it mine. My point is It disabled. I think because of it being overheated since when I tried to check something It burned very much. I plugged my Iphone into the computer and once again Itunes says that I need to enter my passcode in the Iphone, but ICANT ! Any help please. I dont wanna throw this away since it a gift from my dad. Help ?

Info: IT says the IMEI: Unknown and ICCID: Unknown

Wow, some broken English there, makes you wonder...

I wasn't laughed at you I came to her for this to get me fixed for expert. I can't wait to get my 59GB iPhone and restore it. I wouldn't want the more confusing 36GB. I not smrt eithr guyy.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha your my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!1

LOL, is that street talk or something out of a Nigerian dictionary on how to scam Americans?

I understand most of you are thinking im a theif with horrible english. Really like i said I dont care what you have to say. Once I get it fix and you still want proof ill do it.

Dude, you should just take the iPhone to Apple. Just explain to your dad what happened, and he'll take you the Apple Store (there'll be one around somewhere). Happy ending. I suggest you don't JB again though, it's obviously too difficult for you.

Unless you really did steal it. In that case, I wish you a painful and unhappy life. I've been stolen from before (my house was ransacked) and I really don't understand how a person can inflict that much hurt upon another :(

Im all sweaty from memories of dealing with kids like this one at the Apple Store Genius Bar... I think I went through all the stages of grief just reading through all the posts. Jailbroken, odd numbers (36GB?) and crazy stories that make my spidey sense tingle... you are worried about a few dumb numbers of friends you can look up on your facebook page or just ask tomorrow in school?? Crazyness...
