iPhone Launch Meetups Subforum Gone?

I was just browsing earlier and noticed that the Launch Meetups Subforum is gone. Is it coming back in the fall, or is it gone forever?

I know a lot of people still use it around launch events. It can still be accessed if you can find an old link. If it was brought back around launch time, that would be cool
