I bet they couldn't care less. What do you think the point of marketing is anyway?
Exactly right. Business is not personal.

It's all a show. No matter how many Verizon sold yesterday, they would have said "we sold out". They are holding back most of their stockpile for new customers on the 10th. If they truely sold out, why don't they tell us how many they had in stock, how many they sold, and how many they are getting for the 10th?
I am not sure Droid "does anything." LOL
All my friends that have Droids hate them and cant' wait to switch to iPhone.
Not surprising.. Everyone wants the iPhone.
I have to agree, I have the HTC Eris and while it was great at first there's just too many things going wrong that I can't stand it anymore. For instance, phone rings, screen stays blank, rings and rings and rings, won't let me answer it, missed call. I've rooted it, installed several different "custom" roms on it, etc. No use, it still sucks. I'd rather just have a phone that works like it's supposed to without me having to modify it. I've spent enough time modifying cars that I don't need to be wasting time under the hood of my phone.
I have a droid Incredible. Now and then it gives me the choice of taking a call or having it go to voice mail, however most of the time it makes me take the call in order to make it stop ringing.
I'd have loved to buy an iPhone instead but AT&T sucks bad here and Verizon has full coverage.
No surprise there. iPhone is only the best phone out right now.
No point in being blindingly loyal to a cell phone carrier. They are all evil capitalistic businesses. I'm just glad Verizon subscribers finally have the option of using the iphone. Verizon's past marketing for the Droid or their "there's a map for that" ad was a direct attack at iphone. Now they're licking apple's arse hole. Because the know how important this is. Friggin Sprint is sick of all the Android stuff on their network. Just think about it rationally.
I'm a mac guy through and through but thats debatable.
One could say thanks to brilliant marketing, iPhone has earned the perception of being the best phone out right now.
