Can someone please tell me, when we take pics with our iPhone 3Gs, and post the pictures somewhere or give them to people, can they get the geo-tagging info from the pictures? Is it like embeded? How does that work?

Yep. On a Mac you can use iPhoto. The newest version will show you on a map, but even the last one (which lacks a map) will show you the latitude and longitude info by selecting a photo and hitting command-i.

I just tried the Mac 'Preview' program and it also gives me the numbers and shows a map when I hit Command-i in that program too.

I'm sure most Windows photo-management tools can do the same.
