This location is pretty out of place compared to the surrounding area.

oh ok is this the high mountain park? i've wanted to hike there. that water fall how hard is that to get to?

I've been really impressed with the camera on the 3GS... at least compared to the camera on my old first gen. It's now actually somewhat usable. I also really like how 3.0 allows you to email full resolution photos (for uploading to flickr) by copying and pasting.

how did you edit that pic? cause there is now way the cables would be THAT visible if this was taken at night...

That's straight out of the phone. No fancy photo editing apps for me. Each cable is lit from below by a huge flood lamp. I was plesantly surprised at how well the iphone captured them and the relative lack of blur given my usually shaky hands and lack of light.
 
The first photo was taken in Westwood. He was longer than 20 minutes, but I guess he figured he could accelerate to 88 mph and change all that.

I took the second photo in the canals area in Venice, California. It was a nice afternoon for a bike ride.
