Of course, I'm kind of curious where your speedometer needle is... Assuming that it's off-stage-right (or, technically for stage-speak, stage left,) I *REALLY* hope that the driver of the vehicle was not the one taking the picture. Driving fast is one thing (I don't know the speed limit in that area; I do know that some areas have limits as high as 75, and that in some areas, driving the speed limit would get you passed by every other vehicle; and that it's possible that the needle could be *JUST* out of sight, so you're not really 'speeding' by local standards,) but fiddling around with a camera at those speeds is just plain reckless.


Oh, here's my latest picture. These geese had no fear. Five cars weaved through them (going both directions,) and they just didn't care. The road was theirs, everyone else be damned. (There were about three dozen total, mostly off the left.) I honked at them; revved the engine, crept forward until I nearly hit them (inches,) and they just nonchalantly meandered into the other lane. As I accelerated away, an oncoming car just missed them; apparently thinking they would get out of his way. I'm afraid to go back tomorrow, as I'm sure there'll be at least one dead one from a driver that was TOO confident.
