Here is what I get when I go to supportprofile.com

Log into your account at AppleStore, Blik. Then click on your SupportProfile. You should be amazed to find - as I just was (who knew?!) an amazing list of every Apple product you ever purchased!!! So cool. I've been with Apple since the 80's.. But I never knew (since the invention of the www) that Apple kept a record of every device I've ever owned - with Serial numbers. I'm SO blown away right now.

All the way back to my G5 desktop - 4 pages of products including all my iPod Nanos for my kids. All my computers and all my iDevices.

For some reason my iPhone 4 and 5S were missing from the list.. But I still have all my boxes and there's an Add Device button where you enter the serial number from the box and BAMM - it finds your device! My profile is now updated with 4.5 pages of stuff all the way back to 2003..

I must be the biggest techno geek out here.. But stuff like this gives me a "thrill up my leg"... If you will.. Lol!

Thanks to whoever first mentioned this little part of Apple's site!

So when my 6S ships - it should appear in that profile window? Even if I ordered it from ATT carrier app?
 
i ordered the rose gold 6 plus seconds after the Apple Store app went back up, my estimated delivery is 9/25

I think the low sales count has to do with the following:
1. Lack of interest for this years model
2. Not much of an upgrade
3. No 2-year option on Apple site

For me it was 3 & 2. Even now, almost 3 hours later I can still get a Space Grey 64 and have it by 25 September.

humm - I guess your "prediction" was ... oh let's say "slightly" wrong... ;)
 
2 minutes until U.S. markets open. Let's see what the China news does for APPL in the midst of a potential interest rake hike. Apple has said this morning that they're expecting over 10 million sales the 1st week, eclipsing the record set by the iPhone 6.

I ordered 1 6+s and a 6s. I have to say this was hands down the easiest Apple iPhone presale transaction I have EVER experienced. This deserves a story in itself.

While the process is not over -- I selected in store pick up -- so far it's been a breeze..

Seriously -- maybe finally finally they've got the supply chain nightmare and limited stock drama behind them -- as far as this release is concerned...

In any case -- I'm extremely satisfied and saw HUGE improvements in the app purchase operation all around...
I agree - I think they have a better handle on it. Both of these devices pretty much new inside and out - new cases, new innards -- but they seemed to have gotten an earlier start. Maybe there weren't the engineering/production issues of years past. Generally, whenever they add any new hardware we find out that something was delayed because of yield issues.

I really wish Apple would offer some stronger colours. pale grey, pale yellow and pink, arew just not my style. Gimme a deep blue, or a black or a green. Or Red, I love a really rich red anodize.

The "pale color" thingie is to go with their "My Little Pony" rainbow pastel look of the UI starting in iOS 7. They must have hired some girly girl in that department.. Such an unmanly look for phones. I always get SpaceGrey with the Black face and immediately put it in a manly looking case.
 
I ordered a plus 64 gig in rose gold, and had the transaction completed at 12:07am saturday. Originally, the estimate was Oct 1st-7th which was a little annoying considering I'd been waiting to get the order placed the second the site went live and that was as fast as I could get it in.

Now I just logged into hoping my estimate got moved sooner and it's bumped down Oct 7th - 14th. Apple should know what they're doing by the 8th time they've done this. Maybe they're having trouble finding a supplier who still makes 16 gig flash modules from 2010?

Who did you order it from. Apple or AT&T
 
From Apple. Ordered in Canada actually, so Apple is the only choice.
Yeah - all bets are off for Canada shipping dates. I just know we experienced many first and second week of October shipping estimates change to launch day in US by a couple days before delivery.
 
I am hoping by mid-week or early next week the updates for 6S+ will move up. Especially the ones that ordered within the first 15 minutes of opening.
 
Apple is sold out of all 6S+ models - so they still didn't make enough this year. Crazy they wouldn't get this right 2 years in a row.

I know. Makes no sense.....they should of learned their lesson from last year 6/6+ launch

It's baked into Apple as a company. Steve Jobs never had a problem with generating a little more desire by having limited availability after launch.
And unless they fire up a few more factories, there's probably a limit to how many FoxConn can actually hammer out in a given month anyways.
 
Untrue. I have Next upgrades on two lines that still have their unlimited data intact and a third line that is a 5GB w/tethering.

Next is just a zero interest payment plan on your device, nothing more. It does not require giving up a grandfathered unlimited data plan up. If your AT&T rep is telling you that it does, they're lying to you.

If you're willing to go to a mobile share data plan, you can save a few bucks, but with a 3 month average data usage of 45.32GB /mo and a 3 month peak data usage of 56.84GB across my three lines, I'm not giving up my unlimited plans until I'm forced to, and I'd be leaving AT&T most likely.

so you are paying full price in the installments? If so then you are paying 2X one for the next device price and once for the hidden device charge inside old school 2 year contracts. The only way ti would be Ok is if you really didn't want to do a 2 year renewal, which can be broken easily nowadays w all the promos from the different carriers.
