So...pretty much anything then?Hi
maybe this is the common causes of this issue
Dead Battery
Crashed App
Unidentified Cause
iOS Issue
Hardware Fault
Although the issue has been occurring less and less on later iOS versions, I was finally able to capture diagnostic logs etc. for this issue, and they have been filed. This issue should be completely gone in a future update.
Considering it causes your entire springboard to restart randomly, it will be fixed. Not to mention, they specifically said that the issue will be fixed for sure now that they have the logs i provided.Lol bugs reported doesn't mean bugs fixed,
By any means
So this is most likely software related? I knew it.
What I'm wondering is, I'd read about the differing read and write speeds on the storage size variations. What size is yours?

[doublepost=1507161653][/doublepost]Same problem here but my 7 plus recently started doing that and I bought it since January idk what is wrong with it but it occurs occasionally tho but it never use to do thatAnytime I use a app or safari sometimes my phone will go to a black screen with a spinning circle for a few seconds then back to the lock screen so I have unlock it to use my phone again.
Any help and any possible way to check in settings?
The latest issue seems to be somewhat different than what was being discussed in this thread from some time ago:Just went through the same ordeal on two devices with the latest iOS updates, https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5022419?tstart=0 appears to have resolved the issue for the meanwhile...

Date Bug in iOS 11.1.2 Causing Crash Loop on iPhones as December 2 Hits
I think the issue is fixed, we shall know in matter of minutes.......
I have a iphone 6, own it for almost 2 yrs, I use software version 11.0.2, the problem just occurred since today morning, went through this forum and came across your post, so went through the link provided which asks to install iOS 11.2......
Before updating to iOS 11.2, it advises to disable notifications for each and every app, I was in the middle of disabling the notifications (took several attempts as screen was going black in every minute) and suddenly the issue got fixed, so as discussed earlier in the forum and in that link, it might an app not syncing with iOS properly, anyways I am updating to iOS 11.2 and then shall enable the notifications and we shall see if the bug is fixed with the latest update........
