If you have an iPhone with an OLED screen, then a workaround would be to use the OLEDX app as it just sips the battery. Your phone would be unlocked (though you could utilize Guided Access but obviously that would defeat the purpose for quick entry into your phone).

I’m going to look into this! Thanks.

Cunard use the Arabic 2 - and only for two ships out of the 248 they've operated, despite re-using several names, so more like what Apple do with the iPads.

D’oh you’re absolutely right. I was thinking of when the Queen launched it and called it Queen Elizabeth II despite being told it was called Queen Elizabeth 2.

Not interested keeping my I phone 11 pro max till September release of the new pro model phone.

Great news! While many people dislike the bezeled design, many people also like it (myself included). It's an iconic and classic Apple design. This is actually one of the main reasons I chose the 8+ over the XR. No regrets!

As for the name of this SE successor, simply 'iPhone' would be a good and plausible one (not to mention simplistic). iPhone CE and iPhone 9 are plausible too (though the latter may possibly give some the impression that it'll be inferior over the A11 iPhone X as 9 is a smaller number than the 10).

The SE was shared basically all it's parts with the 5S except the motherboard (A9 chip, 2GB ram and cellular modem) and the rear camera.

I hope the iPhone 9 comes in some different colors (i.e. the blue example in thus article would be great), but rumors are pointing to space grey, silver and red.

In other words, the SE is like a 5s and 6s hybrid.

I think the blue color would look nice for this SE successor. The cream-colored 'gold' of the iPhone 8 would look really nice too! It would be a bit of a shame if the SE successor doesn't come in one or both of these aforementioned colors.

This gives me hope that they'll continue making SE models! I love my SE and I want to get another model in the same lineup once this one kicks the bucket (which hopefully won't me any time soon) :D

EDIT: Once they get to making the A30 processor and putting it into the iPhone SE family, it can me named the SE/30 :p

I can’t imagine 256GB will be available. Even the XR is only 64GB/128GB.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised at 32/64 or 32/128 either, but the rumor is 64/128.
The iPhone XR used to come in a 256GB option, but Apple discontinued it along the September 2019 event.

Why does no rumor address which camera it will have? Are we talking the base camera from the 11, keep the camera from the 8, or...?
XR.

Yes, and the same fate could very well befall the iPhone 11 later this year. A 256GB SE would be $549, it’s a viable price so I think there will be a 256GB model. The 256GB 11, currently $849, will be $749 and that runs pretty heavily into the pricing for iPhone 12. I think it gets discontinued.
