Ordered through the Apple App at 1min after 12AM. Got the 256 Gold iPad Pro and the pencil for deliver on the 31st of March. Gonna wait and check out the cases in person since they have all the new colors. So glad I skipped the 12 inch iPad Pro (the first iPad I ever skipped - it's an addiction). The 9.7 is the perfect size!
I will admit tho, the rose gold SE looks beautiful. I've always loved the 5/5S design

A bit off topic but seriously, Gold iPhone/iPad should have black face. Rose Gold is good with white.

That's why this SE will do well - the best design, with (most of) the latest internal tech.
Or you actually visit the store page or watch the keynote and know why it costs more. It is not meant to be a successor to the air. There simply is not a model for that.
You can dislike that part, it would simply out of place to dislike the fact that the pro is more expensive.
You prob want the pro wit less features. Which is simply not possible. So wait for another model or accept you are paying for things you may not use.
Context and knowledge is important before making such statements.

Apple priced the iPad Pro higher so it gives them wiggle room for price cuts when demand drops. Does anyone know if the Apple Pencil can be used to takes notes in OneNote?
I don't think apple operates that why. I think they misjudged the demand of the iPad at this price point.
I think the changes they did, to bring in the iPad Pro options is nice, but it doesn't warrant the 100 dollar price increase.
I think I missed the first batch of 64GB Space Grey iPhones - my order went in at about 08:30 GMT (darn that snooze button - I set the alarm for 7!) and was offered a 1-5 April delivery date instead of March 31. Still, that's pretty good I think. I'm away from work that week anyway, so I'm not fussed on a set date.

Of course you had. Antennagate and Scuffgate both issues were acknowledged and addressed by Apple.

I think they priced every iDevice $100 too high, basically.
