Of course you had. Antennagate and Scuffgate both issues were acknowledged and addressed by Apple.
If I wasn't told by the media that these were issues, I would never have known. I felt these phones functioned admirably during 2 years of use w/o cases.
That said, the home button did eventually fail on my 4.

ordered iPad Pro 9.7 thru verizon lease program for what I was paying for my Air 2 and got the keyboard and Apple back cover from Apple as Verizon didn't have them!

I'm planning on getting one but there is just something about that camera corner of the iPad Pro 9.7" that just looks messy... :\

I wonder when the embargo will be lifted. Want to read a few reviews first before buying an SE. Really tempted though. It might be on Monday or Tuesday, a few days before it's released?

Indeed... Still my iPhone 4 had no problem in making or receiving calls, and my iPhone 5 had no scuffs.
So much for two "issue"...

Underwhelming old-looking products, with the SE a panic move by Apple after 6 sales stalled. The product line is a mess and the specs are pitiable. Think most people will pass.
Well I do like the SE design, its much better then the 6, its more holdable, but I agree, the 4" phone isn't for everyone.

What do you expect ? It basically is an iPhone 6S in the 5S case.
I'm just wondering if graphics performance will be better, having to drive less pixels

Say what?

All the 64GB iPhone 5SE colors slipped to April 1-5 within the first hour, now they are at 5-7 days.
I specifically talking about iPads, and also when I first looked it had not slipped :)

If the "30 million 4-inch iPhones sold in 2015" stat they cited in the keynote is accurate, I seriously doubt the SE was a panic move on their part. More like a smart move. Rumors of a 4-inch iPhone being in the works have been around for quite awhile.. and the SE is looking like a pretty solid product.

That's exactly what I want to know about. CPU and GPU performance (and battery life). The tech companies that went to the event only had 15 minutes with the new devices so that's when reviews come in handy. They'll test that sort of stuff.

Right.
CPU performance should be on par.
GPU performance should be slightly better, onscreen, thus the best on the market in most of the cases.
Battery life ? Considering the same battery of the 5S on a device with a smaller screen, I'm expecting a better battery life, thus among the best on the market.

When 6 sales stalled, Tim pointed out that over 30 per cent of users had stuck with 4" phones. Weeks later, we get the scrap-heap Frankenstein SE...part 5 and part 6, but belonging to neither. If this was well planned, it would have a design close to the 6. Or is Apple going to have a 7 alongside a 5 design with 7 internals?

The SE is a fudge, brought about by bad planning.

I'm hoping it's a stop gap solution so they can implement a smaller 4.7" and 5.5" design but my worry is that it will sell so well that Apple doesn't feel compelled to push the limits on that.

Edit: I'm still on the fence about the iPad, I think I'm just going to have to handle it in person and see if it's something I really think will get use in our household.

Your lack of knowledge doesn't change the fact that the color of the black/slate iPhone 5 is only shallow and every scuff you make (maybe still in the future) reveals a brighter aluminum color beneath it. Not so with the iPhone 5S and SE. The notion was, new designs introduce new problems and that has been true for both iPhones.

I don't think apple operates that why. I think they misjudged the demand of the iPad at this price point.

I think the changes they did, to bring in the iPad Pro options is nice, but it doesn't warrant the 100 dollar price increase.

Apple has been doing stealth price drops through other sales channels for months now. Just about any day of the week for the last 6 months you could get an iPad Air 2 for up to $100 off what Apple was selling it for. The gigantic iPad Pro has also seen similar discounts from Best Buy and Staples.

64 GB iPhone SE space gray and silver slipping to April 11-14 in German store already. There seems to be some demand!!

I'm almost glad that Apple didn't do a whole outside redesign of the SE because it would most likely turn out to look exactly like the 6s 4" super thin shell with the power button on the side. I hate the power button on the side.

As someone thats been interested in getting an Air 2 for a while please correct me if I'm wrong, but as I see it the new iPad Pro 9.7 looks like the the kinda spec I imagined the Air 2 would be upgraded too, it is over a year & a half old now! so what makes it "Pro" I can still get the Air 2 but slightly cheaper however the Ipad Pro will be £100 more expensive that it's previous price.
To me it looks like a way of rebadging the iPad update and charging more because it's "Pro". Good old Apple marketing once again.

Wow, I've been saying all along to the haters posting on this forum that there is still a strong market for a 4" phone. They sold over 30 million 4" iPhones in 2015.

Agreed, I didn't want a thinner phone and one of the reasons why I wanted the SE over the 6s is the SE design
