[doublepost=1549070403][/doublepost]Perfect size? I used one last night deciding if I wanted to use it seeing it was just laying around the house as my s9 plus came in today. But anyways it handled great, fast, bright clean. . . .Everything about it was impressive except THE SCREEN SIZE I couldn't do it.

It’s a trained reaction. You can’t do it because you’re no longer used to it. I’ve used an SE as my daily driver since they came out three years ago and I love it. The information density is key.

Yes you have larger screens but the information density isn’t there throughout the iOS. It’s largely just blank, extra space, which actually causes your eyes and brain to work harder to gather the information. The SE is a near perfect size for information display. If they could remove the bezels and make it a flush display, there’s really no reason to ever go larger IMO.

For the most part yes. There's one glaring issue that seems to be common that my wife has experienced and been confirmed on the forums -- do not use a TPU case on your phone! (those plasticky-rubbery cases) There is a very high failure rate of the top button in phones with a TPU case.

Can you post a link to the discussion/s? I can't find them.

I was thinking of getting an Incipio NGP soft case but I don't know if their "Flex2O polymer" is TPU or not.

Well that was fun. I ordered two SEs at noon yesterday, and the first was at my door at 10 this morning. Curiously, the second won't be here until Monday. It appears the Rose Gold came from Pennsylvania, and the Space Grey from Nashville.

DAMN IT!! I missed it! Any hope that it will be back up??

I've had mine for over 2 years and it's been perfect. Applecare is a waste for this if you ask me.

Hard to say if it’s a model issue or individual happenstance. All three of my SEs have worked perfectly since I’ve had them.

But my 5s had to be replaced after 1 year. Apple replaced it with a brand new 5s (they claimed) due to a failed flash before the warranty was up. Apple’s replacement only had the remainder of the original 1 year warranty. A year later, the Touch ID failed during a software update which they admitted uncovered a preexisting defect. They refused to repair it, so I bought an SE. A year later, the 5s battery swelled, and Apple replaced it with a refurbished 5s for the cost of the $79 battery, which also restored the Touch ID. So AppleCare+ would have been worth it for my 5s. Was it that all 5s models that were that unreliable? Or was it just that one? Did I just get lucky with my SEs? Or do they have a better reliability rate than the 5s?

AppleCare+ is cheap insurance. Then again, the SE is cheap enough just to replace it if it fails, or otherwise pay for the repairs. So I’m probably going to take the risk and go without. Either way, I’ve got 60 days to decide.

Man I’m jealous, my 128GB Space Gray won’t be here until Monday, coming from Mount Juliet, TN.

Nice - you even managed the Gray 128.

What iOS do these iPhones come with - just to know when the approximate date they were manufactured?

Yeah, mine’s coming from MOUNT JULIET as well ... what’s up with here random shipping points?

I suspect they're liquidating remaining stock in stores and warehouses across the country.
Hey I don't care where it came from, I'm just happy to get a brand new unlocked 128GB SE, returning the 32GB prepaid one that I got because **** the unlocking process to sign up for service I don't even want and the space is just not sufficient. I'll transfer the AppleCare I got for it to my new one.

Is this possible?

Actually I am very interested in iPhone SE, since I believe this is the perfect size and design for me, put aside that I am using iPhone X right now. But I always miss the purchase.

When I get into the clearance website, there is no iPhone SE left. So, does anybody know where can I get one?

If the price had been $120 - $150 for the 32GB, I would have gotten one to use for music, alarm clock, and other uses. At $249 plus tax, I think it was still too high, even if it sold out again.

If being unlocked to any carrier isn’t a priority for you, and you are willing to use a prepaid service for 6 months (then eligible to be unlocked by provider), you can find them all over Walmart.com for $139.

Straight Talk, Family Mobile, even Verizon prepaid all sell them for $139.00 new in the box. Eligible for in-store pickup or delivery.

Right, I didn’t realize Mount Juliet was outside of Nashville, where there are two corporate Apple Stores.

Weird it took 5 months to start liquidating them. It’s seems odd Apple would sit on them in storage, rather than immediately ship them to authorized retailers.

And if they’re rounding them up from third party retailers to sell them off at a discount now, there must be a reason — maybe to get them off the market so they don’t compete with new a new XE? Otherwise, why not leave them with authorized retailers until they all sold for whatever they can get for them?
