I don't understand how the iPhone SE could be priced this low and with great specs.

At $300 less, why would anyone buy an iPhone 16?

Better cameras and related features (can be a major selling point for buyers), Dynamic Island, etc.

When the original SE launched in 2016, it was $250 USD (around $330 in today's dollars) cheaper than the 6S yet had most of the same features. Each had same RAM, same chip, same 4G LTE, same Touch ID, single 12MP cameras, etc. The 6S was a larger phone (4.7" display versus 4" display) but other than size, the SE and 6S were pretty similar.

I've been using a Pixel 6a. It's a waste of money. Google should pay me to use it.

I liked my Google Pixel 6a… I think it is arguably better phone than iPhone SE. 90Hz screen, larger battery, way better camera than iPhone SE 3, USB-C etc.

Well, if I'd bought the thing at full price, I would have returned it the same day. US$150 off, it is usable, unless of course, I'm outdoors where I can't read the display. The 2022 iPhone SE is quite easy to read outside or inside.

You'd think that the OLED would be better but the scrolling glitches. My OnePlus 8T, an older phone, had a better, smoother display, and a much more powerful processor, and so does the 2022 iPhone SE.

I don't use numbers. I use phones and computers.

I was thinking the other day they should still keep the classic look with updated specs, maybe make a section for them ?

yes, wasn't there an ipod classic?

I have had OLED phones from Google Nexus 5, every generation of Google Pixel, three Samsung Galaxy, iPhone X to iPhone 14 Pro Max.. none of them had burn in.

then why the talk about oled burn in when it comes to tvs? example

My favourite iPhone ever...and I'll be using it until it is no longer supported. I detest faceID and not having a button, I definitely do not want/need a larger phone.
Presumably you're talking about the original SE, widely regarded as the best iPhone ever.

Why on the earth you wanna buy SE3 just do MFA? Even iPhone 7 can run MFA easily. I can’t imaging companies buy brand new iPhone SE 3 for MFA nowadays.
You don't really want to deploy phones out of support, and where do you buy a new iPhone 7 to give to a new employee?
Having a phone on your desk is quickly going out and companies need to supply mobile phones to their employees. Cheapest way to get a MDM-compatible phone is to buy iPhone SEs. Androids, sure, but if you want to manage the phone and use auto-enrollment OOB requires you to NOT buy the cheapest phones available. Many companies already have a system like Jamf in place and would rather manage their phones from there.

I understand where you coming from.

In our company, we use Microsoft Authenticator for MFA, which all employee has its own phone.

We used to have a token devices, which generates code every 30 seconds and we have to enter the code in order to gain access to the system.

I have also seen government uses USB-C devices for authentication purposes.

There are different ways to achieve MFA, but if you need to get a phone in the hands of thousands of employees, you tend to go for the cheapest option for the masses, and the SE4 fit all the requirements, including being relatively cheap.
