OK, both of my iPhone SEs are now on my Apple support profile with serial numbers. The one that was lagging yesterday has also moved to "Preparing to Ship" just like the other one.

1 Space Gray & 1 Rose Gold, both 64 GB.

I mean, damn dude. Don't you have a job? I'll head to work on Thursday, at some point Fedex will drop off the phones with my wife, and I'll get to play with them when I get off of work. It's not... like, the end of the world or anything. I, personally, can't take 3 hours out of my work day to go queue up around an Apple store.
There ARE non-9-to5 jobs; this isn't 1940.

By the looks of it, when possible, shippers are holding at the main hubs before sending out to the peer hubs. This is easier to control but the farther away you hold it from the consumer, the more chances you run into delays getting out to the consumer.

I've received a tracking number yesterday but it still is not accesible from the UPS site, interesting.

I've had orders in the past that didn't show any tracking history until it was delivered.

Great ! My order just got dispatched. Serial number is also available on the support page though my credit card still hasn't been charged yet.
It's going to be 2 very looooooong days to wait now. :D

Ordered mine early on the morning of release in the UK, just had my despatch notification, due to be delivered on the 31st as expected, but strangely it says it was despatched on the 27th.

Same for me here in France, I just got the notification though I realized that it has actually been dispatched on the 27th. They took some time to refresh the order page.

So I logged into Verizon's Iconic portal to check my order status to see if I could get more info. There's another order in there from March 18 that still shows as processing! I wonder if that will screw my SE order up?! What happened was I thought I'd try switching to Android (ha!), got a Galaxy S7 in-store, and that lasted all of 7 hours. I returned it, but what complicated things was I turned in my 6S as it was on a device payment agreement and I paid to upgrade early. They gave me back my original phone with no problem but they didn't know what to do about the money I paid and reinstating the device payments. They let me go after about 45 mins and said they'd get it taken care of. When I called *611 a few days later to cancel a tablet line, I asked if they could tell what happened and if all was ok now. After awhile on hold she came back and said all was well and that my money should be back on my card within 48 hours and the device payment agreement would be back in effect within 7 days. Since I still hasn't received a refund I called this past Sat and was told they fixed it and I would have it Mon, Tues at the latest (STILL don't). So in the Iconic portal, it has my original GS7 purchased which is closed out fine, but then that 2nd order (which didn't exist) still showing as processing. AHHHH! Sorry for the novel but I'm getting a little anxious about getting my phone on time.

If you don't have an email with a delivery date, you might want to visit a physical Verizon store on Thursday. They might be able to figure out if you really have a phone on the way, and if not, sell you one.

Nope. No job here. I'm an old coot, and retired. I travel a fair bit for fun, but when I'm not traveling I'm mostly around the house. Cell phones had been around for a couple of decades and there were already smartphones when I got my first flip phone. That lasted about a decade, and a few years ago (maybe 5 or so?) when the battery was getting noticeably weak, I got my second flip phone, which will be replaced in two days (if FedEx is as prompt as usual) by the SE.

There's no excuse for my impatience, but there is an explanation: It will be my first smartphone.

I did get the confirmation email with delivery date of 3/31. I'm just getting concerned about still being stuck at processing! I guess if I haven't gotten a cancellation email I'll assume all is well, LOL.

Mine is being held in Memphis Tenessee. The status says "Future delivery requsted" which to me means Fedex is holding them.

I live ~3 hours away from the Memphis hub. So I expect it to be shipped tomorrow. The status still reads preparing for shipment.

Also, I ordered the Apple branded leather case in midnight blue. I like the cases made by apple despite being $$$ because they complement the device feel and form very well. Any thicker is a no no by me. Designs, perforations (more than required), obvious loud textures take away the beauty of the actual device. (OK, the iPhone 5C cases with gaping holes as big as the pluto were hideous).

They always hold them at major hubs. They're all marked 1-day/overnight delivery. There's more room at major hubs and less chance of early delivery this way.

The other thing you want is a tracking number. If you have a tracking number, you can go to the shipper's web site and confirm that there actually is a package. If there is, you're solid.

For those that bought directly from Apple store. Did you guys get shipping notification? I haven't received anything yet and my status is still 'Preparing for Shipment.' Wondering if it is due to my 1st card being declined, but then I changed it to a working card. Has this happened to anyone else?

Still says 'delivery by 3/31 next day shipping' though.

No tracking info yet. I keep obsessively checking Verizon and my credit card and FedEx apps today, lol. No love from any yet. :(

I've never seen "Future delivery requested." Mine (on the FedEx site) says "Scheduled delivery: Thu 3/31/2016 by 3:00 pm" And there's a question mark button which clarifies what "scheduled delivery" means.
