Same for me – I ordered mine on the 31st of March, delivery is expected between the 7th and 11th of April. I kind of expected its status would at least be "preparing shipment" by now...

Not sure that you really want it to move to "preparing to ship" and sit there a while. One of the key parts of the "preparing to ship" step is that you get billed! Most people would rather want to be billed just before it actually is on the way :D:D

Great point! I also have credit card charge notifications on the card I use to purchase Apple products. As soon as Apple charges, it normally switches to "Preparing to Ship" status within a couple hours.

Saves me from having to repeatadly check apple.com for updates.

This is the first time I'm buying an Apple product from their site, are they usually accurate with their dates? Shipping 7-10 business days and like I said before, est delivery is the 15th - 20th.

a little review? any rattle, yellow screen

My path was iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s Plus, and now iPhone SE. I give the iPhone 6 to my dad after I bought the 6s Plus, so I moved up two sizes before going back to a 4-inch display as my primary phone. In the meantime I do use my iPhone 5s occasionally, so I have no problem with a smaller screen size.

Compared to the SE and 6s Plus side by side with auto-brightness on, the SE display isn't as blue as the 6s Plus. My SE display is fine and I don't notice any yellowish color. The sleep/wake button does rattle when shaking the phone, which I didn't notice on the 5s. I do miss the 3D Touch and optical image stabilization features found on the 6s Plus. The battery should last for my work day. On both my 6s Plus and SE, I slide the text size to the far left.

The Apple Store estimate is pretty accurate. I received mine a whole day earlier.

It's official, I'm sticking with the iPhone SE. Gave away my iPhone 6 to a family member.

Only regret is that my poor old iPhone 5 will no longer be "in use" after 3 1/2 years, I was hoping it could continue chugging along until iOS 10. :(:p

I already paid for it, actually (you can use your bank account instead of your credit card to pay in Europe) :)

Therefore, I'd be very happy when the status changes! :D

I got my 2 iphone se' today. So far I don't see any yellow screen on them. But the rattle are there if you shake your phone only which it doesn't bother me.

My SE arrived on Monday the 4th exactly as promised, amidst terrible weather with five inches of snow, whiteouts, multi-vehicle pileup on the interstate. i had to shovel a 150' path out to the road twice for the UPS guy. My snow plowman long since removed his blade and went back to his summer work (carpentry). Don't think he's framing houses this week, it was 2ºF on Tuesday morning... in April?!?!

Anyway major, major kudos to UPS for not going off the roads while getting here on Monday afternoon. My shoveling a path twice was worth it for both of us, or at least he seemed appreciative: "Compared to what else I walked through today, this was beautiful." So amazing my new SE was in China a couple days before that and showed up here without a hitch in all this weather.

The SE works great with the SIM card from my 5C, all I did was read off the IMEI number to AT&T et voila, functional phone. The 5C still works as WiFi device; it will only whine for awhile about not having a SIM when I upgrade the software.

I don't hear anything rattling when I shake my SE. The display's white is like that of my 5C. Bluetooth works great with a Jambox. I don't have bluetooth in my ancient vehicle, in fact out there i use a 2nd gen iPod nano and an FM transmitter.

The WiFi, lightning connections, sound thru earbuds all work great. The finishing is very fine indeed, it will be a shame to cover it up against my klutz tendencies.

So far since I live in a dead zone, I have no clue if the SE actually works as a phone, although it's recognized as one by iTunes and the phone number shows up properly. I can usually get one bar if I go upstairs and hold a phone up to a windowpane. But tomorrow my driveways will have de-iced themselves so I can drive up on a higher hill and try out the SE's ability to grab a tower and actually phone home.

As usual I acted like an optimist and went ahead and loaded the thing up with music and video and apps after setting it up as a new phone. Only once before did I end up belatedly finding out the phone part of an iPhone was actually DOA. Here's hoping the SE will not be a repeat on that score. Love the thing so far. Having fun with Apple News app which I had not tried before. I'm appreciative of some of the accessibility options for aging eyes!

Now to find a case. I liked my bright yellow 5C case for visibility. Guess I'll try to find something bright green or red, that midnight blue or black leather from Apple doesn't really strike my fancy. I hope whatever 5S gem I pick out for a case actually fits the SE. I see a lot of them claiming to do so on Amazon. Time will tell. With luck we'll be back to real spring weather by time the case ships...

Waiting impatiently ...

Maybe they will catch up more quickly than they thought possible when they put the estimate on your order. I think they underestimated how many would sell in the USA. Or else they only made a couple million up and put most of them out to retailers. Amazing. Hope you like the silver. I thought about it but decided to go for the space gray this time. I like the look of my silver and white iPod touch though, so I was really tempted.

I honestly hope it does very well so this continues to be a thing. The 4" form factor is definitely my favorite.

Thanks. I used to get exclusively black/space gray iPhones, but the white/silver just looks so classy (and doesn't look as dirty when it gets smudges). My 5S was silver as well so it should look pretty much the same. It'll just be like my 5S, only on steroids. :p

It probably sounds funny to talk about my "early adopter" tendency with respect to a 4" screen that some people think of as retrograde, but I grabbed up the SE out of fear they wouldn't sell any better than the 5C and so might not be continued when they bring the iPhone 7 to market.

Anyway given there's no 5C upgrade path (I have liked its silky finish and sturdy framing), the 4" screen on phones is my preference too. If Apple brings an iPhone 7 or 7S option in that size, I'll be happy to upgrade again and hand my "early adoption" SE over to a neighbor's kid. Meanwhile I'm really really happy I went for it.

Since you mentioned you have WiFi, you might try turning on WiFi Calling, it will allow you to make and receive calls over WiFi when you can't get a good Cell signal. This will allow you to actually use your iPhone SE at home. :):D:)

Setting > Phone > Calls section > Wi-Fi Calling.

If you get just enough WiFi signal to prevent Wi-Fi calling from working, just enable Airplane mode and then enable WiFi.

If they keep this 4" form factor going I'll keep upgrading to the newer 4" phones until the end of time.

I believe you have to be in an HD Voice coverage area to use WiFi calling via AT&T anyway. No such luck anywhere around here but this reminds me to go to a corporate store in a nearby city and discuss getting a microcell booster. I kept thinking someone would finally bring a tower over here to kill a 400 square mile dead zone but by now I realize the wild promises of the 90s are really over forever. I could be dead myself before a tower materializes here unless some politician or CEO buys a vacation property up here. Then probably we'd have a tower in days. :D

No you don't have to have HD Voice to use WiFi Calling on your iPhone SE, just a device that supports it. In your case your iPhone SE supports it. Here is the list from AT&T: iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus. Give it a try.

If you use WiFi calling then you don't have to mess with the hassle of the MicroCell.

AT&T HD Voice: https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/features/hd-voice.html

Note: **iOS 9.3 must be installed.

Tomorrow....living vicariously through you all until tomorrow. Just sucks b/c UPS normally doesn't get to my house until about 4PM. I'm going to be going nuts all day.

My local Costco stores didn't have any SE's in stock but I ordered online ... looks like they have good availability for AT&T, 1-3 days to process the order and 1 day air shipping for $24.

got my 64gb sim free gold version 3 days ago; I'm again enjoying using a phone with one hand. Sure, i miss a little larger screen of 6s but I definitely prefer a smaller phone overall. Larger phone only has one advantage and that is large screen, all other advantages go for SE (for me anyway) thus I'm very happy.
Was curious about rattling (a sI read about it on this forum for the first time) as i never noticed that with 5s (so shook hard my old 5s that I gave to my son) shook it hard and did hear some faint rattling but hardly heard haha all this time never heard it. My SE Has it even more faint but only when I shake it violently. You really have to place your ear next to it and shake it hard and you may hear something so faint its basically nothing really just people looking to find something to complain about.
