I got to Leeds. For the first Tuesday in a month, they didn't get a delivery of 64SG haha. Back to York empty handed.

Every Apple Store right now online says available June 14th. WTF, that's nearly a month.

If Apple ever dares say poor sales for this phone so they're not making another I will slap Tim Cook -- you can't buy the bastard even if you want to.

FWIW John Lewis site had one (1!) SG64 available suddenly last evening. No idea why and while I was wondering whether it was some return they were trying to resell someone braver than I snapped it up anyway.

It's probably down to low orders on Apple's part more than anything. There's also the potential that the stock allocations were skewed - I'd imagine lots of SEs were sent/kept East.

Heh, anyway, silly thing is, morning after writing that there was a new batch delivery in most places, caught it in my nearest store and picked it (SG64) up later in the afternoon. Easy in the end.

I wonder how many people are actually choosing to wait a month for their delivery rather than taking their chances day-by-day.

I do think it's easier to just check their stock levels online for pickup. Basically just add it to the basket then check every half an hour or so between say 7-9am each morning. The second morning I did that the nearest store to me must have just got their delivery (they need more than 10 in stock for it to trigger as available apparently), I bought it for pickup immediately there and grabbed it six hours later in the afternoon. Seems a less risky thing than travelling all the way down, and less time-consuming too.

BTW, love the phone. Definitely worth the effort grabbing it. I really hope enough people buy it so that at least one company continues to make small phones which are actually any good.

Ordered on Wednesday, for in store pick up from Arndale Manchester, a SG 64GB, and collected it today :)

Had been checking in store stock daily since launch, missed stock at the Trafford Centre about two weeks ago, but they had a few local to me stores showing stock Wednesday morning.

I'm wanting to trade in my 6 so need to do it in store if I don't want to be 3 weeks without a phone. :(

In Leeds now, outside the Apple Store. Hopefully I'll catch the delivery.
[doublepost=1464079606][/doublepost]FFS, everything but the 64SG. These devices are impossible to get!

Wohoo! Got one. Sleep button is a little loose and there is a yellow tinge at the top, but I reckon I could live with these annoyances.

So after nearly 2 and a half weeks, my mum's (Birthday present) iPhone SE has moved from processing to preparing for dispatch and Apple have taken the money out of my account. I'm hoping it is dispatched soon and arrives before the 4th of June!

Well, if anyone is still waiting to buy a 64GB SpGr SE, then EVERY APPLE STORE IN THE UK currently has stock!

(First time that's happened! :) )

Why not Force Touch on SE? only thing that puts me off. Just took my free upgrade on an 6s+ 128gb

I guess it's Apple's way of getting people to purchase the 6s/6s +. I use Force Touch a lot but quite a few posters on here find it too much of a gimmick at present.

I imagine as more developers include it in app updates it'll be more useful (and likely added to the iPhone SE next year).

I use it for two things and both are very important to me. First is selecting text to change spelling mistakes and to select whole sentences. Other is to force touch settings to get to BT quickly so I can connect to my stereo system which has BT standby. So for me its a must have, otherwise Id get an SE. I have the 6s+ and its a pain to use one handed in the morning, in bed, when checking news. Otherwise its ace for use in the car, satnav and music hub. on reflection maybe I should of got the 6s. Cant have everything I guess.

Plus I have big hands (can hold a basketball one handed) so texting on the + is much easier.

1st world problems!!!!

Went into Carphone Warehouse this morning, they have 64GB stock but wouldn't sell one SIM free. Pillocks.

Ordered one from John Lewis instead.

They've done you a big favour. CPW is now part of Dixons - need I say more? JL are a much better company to buy from. I wouldn't buy anything from the Dixons-Carphone group.

You also get 2 years warranty with JL.

I ordered an SE online with Apple. Said around 3 week wait. Went into Apple store and enquired if they had any in stock and they told me to hang on as there was one on the system that was waiting for a customer. 5 mins later the sales guy turned up with one in his hand and said its yours. Cancelled the online order. Worth going into a store if you can.

I do like the SE but really worry about a 4" screen (size wise). I used to own the 4s (3.5 inch screen) and whilst a really good phone I found it very limiting for Internet use i.e. too small. I used to end up squinting and getting headaches.

My present phone is 4.6 inch which I call the goldilocks phone i.e. just the right size.
